Hi folks..With summer coming(eventually)i am going to need cooltubes for 2x600w hps lights..Not used cooltubes before and need to know if 1 150mm rvk with filter is powerful enough for the 2 tubes or will i need a bigger fan?

hi mate

cooltubes are made to fit certain fans .ive a 400w cooltube it takes a 5 inch fan and filter .i would assume the 600w models do the same ...................

my 600 watt cooltube fits a ,400 ,600, and a 1000 watt ov light it is 125 mm that dont meen u cant have a bigger fan to move the heat im running a 100mm fan on it and it working its guts out but doing job at the mo till it packs up i would personally if it were me get a bigger 1 than u need so it does the job ov cooling 2 with ease just buy reducers to attach to the cool tube at least a 6 inch fan im getting for summer as it getting to 28oC now on warm days so i would get a good un just to be sure m8 dont want to be sorry in middle ov heat wave

p.s the cooltube is the best bit ov single kit i invested in really as i can now get the light a hell ov alot closer to the plants so the light gets in the plants foliage much deeper i have found much more lower bud growth an lot less popcorn buds but i flowered mine early to keep em short so that helped with that a bit as light aint got so far to go

I use a 150 fan for two 600w cool tubes, they are in series on the 6" ducting
