Right so I'm gonna grow two strains. I've already decided on Northern Lights but I'm unsure as to what the second strain should be, I'm thinking either Skunk #1, Shiva Skunk, or some Kush...I'd prefer to select an indica / indica dominant to keep the plants as uniform as possible. Dimensions are roughly 75cm x 75cm x 200cm
Any thoughts would be much appreciated

A shame to forgo the pleasure of a sativa - you can always blend it with your indicas if you find it a bit too "whizzy". They take well to training too - but still end up a foot or more taller.
You could always jack the indica(s) up on an upturned pot.
That said, even in my arrangement with two lamps, I end up having to side-light my most sativa phenos.
If you're looking for an easy sativa, skunk#1 probably has a bit too much indica in it these days - you should have tried the one I had 12 years ago though.

Whats the budjet/high-wanted /indoor/outdoor/yield/taste
Give us a clue bro

heh, yeah that might be useful. I just basically want a some variety from my harvest, something to complement the NL, not too concerned about yield, taste would be the main thing I guess. It's indoor also, and there's no budget (thinking Afghani #1 too)...basically something that's easy to grow for a first timer with a nice taste, might leave sativas for future grows.

I'd go with Hindu Kush as well Herbie

, it's supposed to be a strain that stays nice and short which should be great to grow along with your Northern Lights

apparently nirvana's hindu kush is mostly indica... where as kiwiseeds and sensi says theirs is pure indica...

thanks for the input guys, I think I'll actually go for Durga Mata, read a few threads / grows on it here and it seems ideal! Might keep the Hindu Kush in mind though! Thanks again

Good choice mate..I love my durga. She's short, uniform and very hardy as well as being a cracking smoke..Cheap seeds too,an underrated strain imo..Many people recommend a skunk but i think you get too much variation in height and flowering time..
You going to do a diary?
Good luck with it herbieflowers mate..

cheers mate, yeah the durga is what I'm looking for, it ticks all my boxes. I may do a diary, but this won't be happening till I move out next, which won't be till summer. But yeah, I think I will, have the experts hold my hand along the way! Right now I'm just reading through various diaries, I've been researching the last few months and know the fundamentals just tryna gather as much as possible!

Sensi Seeds 'Sensi Skunk', nice indica/sat mix, very uniform, very undemanding, grows itself almost. I'd recommend it to anyone for a first grow, yeilds good and tastes fab too, what more could ya want?

Indica is couchlock unless finished to early. If you dont want total couchlock go for something more sativa. Some great hybrids to choose from.
