Howdy folks , i am nearing the end of my current grow but have a quick question.When i use the little light on my scope the trichs look clear with a slight amber ish tinge.When i use daylight to look through the scope with the little mirror they look sort of milky.Which is right ?
took off some of the lower down buds and dryed them over a couple of days then ran out of smoke so had to quick dry some by leaving it on the arm of my sofa (still a litle damp but it burns just ) it`s really sticky still and does not smell of hay which is a good thing and it`s quite strong.
Gotta go to dentist today and possibly have a wisdom tooth out so won`t be able to smoke for a bit which is a bummer,might have to eat some or inhale through my nose like i did last time

Milky or amber both mean it's ready.

Wicked going to give them the chop this sat then ! i chopped the smaller 1 of the 5 and the lower down buds, and they are working, hung them for a lot less than last time

Been flushing this lot for the last week ,that`s why they are eating their leaves,less to trim at the end.And smokin and tasting much better

Yes i know people say don`t bother,but the smoke is so so much better.The last lot were organic and i didn`t flush them, when smoked it crackled and sparked ?
Must also mention that the last lot were prob overdosed on feed and bloom as didn`t have anything to measure grow + bloom only a t spoon which was not very accurate...And as this is only my 2nd attempt i am still getting the feel of things and also experimenting with stuff,you don`t know until you try it type thing

Organic nutes shouldn't leave a nasty taste. Perhaps it was the peroxide? I don't think you're supposed to use it in organic grows.

Some nice colas there anyway mate, I'm sure you'll get a cracking (but hopefully not crackling )harvest.

e2a Buy a 10 ml syringe next time you order from/visit a growshop, it makes mixing nutes loads easier.

Ah yep the last lot had a tiny amount of preoxcide in ,and 2 doses of epsoms as a feed and also sprayed with spraysafe up until about a week prior to chop .
Goes a long way to explaining why they tasted a bit ropey.And yes looking forward to it.
When i chop i am going to use my grow cab to hang them in c/f will remove smell.Should i leave the extractor on 24/7 ? or leave the intake on ? will take the clip on fan out.
They should be ready to jar up once i get back from the dam Yes i did go into a chemist and ask for some they would not sell me any ,must of thought i was a smack head ..
Got some little plastic pippets ,but will deffo be getting a syringe this next grow.

You want only a very small airflow, so turn the intake off completely, and turn the extraction right down to a whisper. But mind you don't turn it down so low that the fan stalls.

If you were spraying chemicals onto the leaves a week before harvest no wonder they tasted ropey. Bear in mind that that stuff is unlikely to get washed off by the rain in a drobe.

I thought spraysafe was safe ?
Wont be using it again it was rubbish.I used stuff called bug free from Bayer Garden sprayed twice in veg and didn`t see a single mite after that ! thinkin about that too last lot had mites until the very end might explain the crackles and pops ! ew

judging by the amount of white pistils still growing id leave em a bit longer ,especially if your not sure about the trichs
