When I unscrew this wee hatch, theres 2 black wires going into one of those white plastic cable-connector things (you know, the things with the screws for connecting seperate lengths of cable).
One of them is marked '1' n the other '2'. i assume i connect each of these to either the live or neutral wires in a length of 3 core flex.

I was going to say have a look in the forums....search function i tried rvk wiring and found a post by scribble.
They are easy enough to wire, live to live neutral to neutral. The smaller ones don't have an earth as they don't need one, the larger ones do.
Yep you'll need some 3 core flex and a plug of course
