What is the difference between sat's and indi's and not just in the way it gets you stoned?

Height, bushiness, yield?

I know one is an "energetic" high and one is a "stoned" high but don't know which is which. cry.gif

Help me out guys!!!!!!!!!!

A.F.A.I.K Sativas get you high, happy, While Indicas stone you (couchlock!)
Sativas are tall, Indicas are short
Sativas have thin skinny leaves, Indicas have broad leaves
Sativa best suited outdoor, Indica best indoors?

You said it all mate, unless you want to go into a bit of detail.

ill back ya up , and say sativas grow tall,(usually.) take lots longer to flower, more fussy bout nutes, generally like lower light levels and food levels, buds r more open not dence like indica. more thc and less other cannaboids cbd cbd. and roughly speaking if ur a mewbie try a skunk cross for ya 1st grow they can take much abuse. no whizz on the subject meself but ya know i do what i can to help wink.gif

Cheers guys,

Yeah i think I'll go for a skunk strain.

And i also think indicas in general for my grow box size.

Guess I'm smoking an indica now as i cant think of anything else to write. spliff.gif

Just take a look at some grow diaries, then you'll get a prospective thumbsup.gif

Sativas are quite do-able indoors and anyone who's only ever had commercial schwag should try a range of genetics once they've got the hang of things.

Skunk #1 can be a good introduction if you find the right pheno - (I briefly had a spectacularly tasty one 12 years ago cry.gif )
Unfortunately I can confirm the old adage that skunk#1 tends to be "an easy to grow sativa with just enough indica added to spoil the sativa high"

With limited height you can side-light - it works very well for me :-

The sativa on the left is 4 foot 8 tall, the other 3 plants are approx 3 feet tall and are raised up a foot for a manageable profile.

I can see why you said this because of the head height needed to grow sativas, but in the UK they aren't very good for outdoors because they just won't finish in time. Sativas take longer to flower, so the frost will usually kill them before they are finished.

Sativas can be grown indoors, just need to have a bit of forward planning. They can be trained, be it through a net or by lst. Best way is to grow it from clone and put it into flower when it's not too tall, they can easily quadrouple in height.
