Not been on here for a while, what with moving house, decorating and getting married. Its that time again to build a new growroom. I have a loft in my new gaff that I have had converted. So the grow is going in the eaves.

doesnt look like you have much room there mate.. i know what thats like, ive been there in the past. what lights are going in there?

1 x 125 Enviro in custom shade for the space and 4 x CFL 20wt

Only 2 plants at a time and will be SCROG.

I'm doing a grow with a 125W CFL only 1 plant take a look at my diary growing well under the blue CFL just now temps and that are great but going to need to train it so its low as CFL's dont travel well but best option for small spaces

Step 1.

Im going to start on the floor first. First thing is to prep the area and notch any wires.

Full insulation of the area is next. Underfloor, walls and roof have been covered. I have used this stuff called Spaceblanket, 200ml thick with reflective side.

Then on to the flooring, Conti floor panels, recess screwed to joists, with care not to screw in to wires.

Step 2

I am venting in from the converted side and not the eaves side as this will be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. I fitted 2 x 4" passive intakes with some subtle vent covers.

These will be fitted into some sort of baffle to stop light pollution.

what are the dimensions

Hi Jiffa,

I will get exact dimensions tomorrow as I will be measuring for the wood panels.

Its roughly about 5ft at highest point, 2 ft deep and 3 ft wide..

Plenty for a 2 plant percy grow.
