im growing thai under an enviro , it started off in a pot in march last year then went outdoors for the summer.
its been flowering now for around 16 weeks , the trichs are just starting to turn milky.
my question is , do pure sativas mature during flowering? do the trichs turn brown?
is there any way to speed it up? would 18/6 help?
ive never had a plant not want to mature like this before.
Ola 16 weeks is a long time
But sats do tend to take longer in flowering and especially under an enviro
Yes they do mature during flowering and keep them on 12/12.
The reason for keeping them on 12/12 is that, you switch them from 20/4 (or what every you use to veg) and then to 12/12 so it tricks the plant into thinking that the winter is coming so it produces its buds, like some plants produce fruits and flowers and in the winter is less light (12 hours of light 12 hours of dark)
Well thats my kind of week, not -very well worded explaination
Just keep them on 12/12 and watch those trichs!
Good luck hope i helped somehow! :]

oops , they are on 12/12 , been so for 16 weeks.
sorry , got mixed up.
i went down to 13 off/11 on a week ago with no joy.
would 8 on/16 off shock them too much?
Do you have any pics?
Would it not be possible to buy just a 250w HPS?
So much better for your plants if you ask me

If it's Thai,it can take 20 + weeks to finish.

if it's flowered this long i'd keep it as you've done 13/11, possibly even down to 14/10, reduce temps a bit also if you can
