Full Version: White Rhino
hi everyone im thinking about doing white rhino for my next grow and would like some advice on which seedbank to buy from has anyone any experience from the rhino and what seedbank was it from i dont really want to pay £95 for 10 reg seeds from the dogs nuts seedbank but also want better than the £15 nirvana sedbank any advice /knowledge is very much appreciated

iv grown nirvanas one ,and still growing it ,(pics in sig)
found it to be a strong smoke ,ignore the 8 week finish that it says on the packet
problem i had was there mixed phenos in the packet ,
iv one that finishes at 9 weeks and the other is nowhere near finished then
so keep a cut of the ones you flower ,after the smoke test pick your fav
and make it into a mum and do cuts next time

Yeah I also agree 100% with what bart just said. Nirvana's Rhino is great too! I had loads of probs growing mine due to my own fault so I reckon I only got 3/4 of it's potential.
It still locks my ass to my chair tho and gives me that mind fucked confused stoned feeling for first 20 mins after a bifter. Which is what I like in my herb. Deffo worth growing dude!

Nirvana's Rhino has a great reputation,and people seem to have pheno's that finish at 8,9 and 10 weeks.I was given a Rhino clone a few years back that was originally believed to be from Greenhouse,but it turned out that it was in fact Nirvana.I still keep a mum and she finishes at around 8 weeks.It's a powerful stone,and out of the plants in my collection,the Rhino produces buds that give the tastiest smoke.

Edited to add: You always hear people slagging off Nirvana and saying that they're F2's and so forth,but it's worth pointing out that Nirvana's version is an F1 hybrid.

and thanks for all your replys my question about the seeds was only because seed banks have their own version of rhino and nirvana wont be the same as white label for instance nor doggies nuts /greenhouse etc ive noticed with greenhouse strains they are very leafy so didnt want to get their version of rhino but doggies nuts claim to have rhino#1 i assume thats the original one and the other seedbanks got hold of it and done their own thing with it

I soaked ten nirvana rhino beans and nine cracked and are doing well, four have shown sex and they're female don't know about the other five yet but got two phenos short bushy indica looking and tall sativa looking can't wait to see the outcome, good look with your search mister

or have a look at greenhouse seeds they do females in 5 or 10 packs for bout 30 quid 
and what is it with green house seeds peeps? whats the reason 420 dont stock em? any 1?

and what is it with green house seeds peeps? whats the reason 420 dont stock em? any 1?WITH PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH GREENHOUSE SEEDS FIRSTLY I THINK THE MAJORITY OF THE STRAINS THEY DO HAVE HIGH LEAF TO FLOWER RATIO WHICH I THINK IMPEEDS YEILD BUT IS ALSO A NIGHTMARE TRIMMING UP AND SECONDLY I THINK THE WILD CLAIMS OF GENETICS BEHIND THE STRAINS ARE ANOTHER REASON THEY MAY NOT BE SO POPULAR BUT GRANTED THEY ARE CHEAP AND CHEERFULL FOR FEM SEEDS BUT AGAIN FEM SEEDS ARE NOT EVERYONES CUP O ROSIE

That plant in the pic was one of 16 clones that I grew under 1 x 400 w light in 5 litre pots in a mixture of rockwool and clay pebbles (4 x 4 formation).Vegged for about 10 days and flowered for 8,they average an ounce a plant.
Original White Rhino is what i grew for 7 years... at one point i was smoking over an ounce of that stuff a week.. 
not sure which is the original ,but the newer versions are not as stable.. mine was finished dead on 8 weeks.

for a tenner, Nirvana's White Rhino kicks ass, grew it for years not the most interesting smoke high or taste wise but very potent and high yeilding
