this might sound like a stupid question but getting ready to do a grow in a wardrobe upstairs the extraction gunna go to the loft and wanted to know if cutting hole in floor board and sliding ducting in there to get the intake air from there is ok or a waste of time cause there will b smoking going on in the room the drobes in so wanted to avoid takin the air from in the room

I'd just take the air from the room, though some would say you shouldn't expose your plants to smoke. But they'll enjoy the CO2 from breathing humans, and as an added bonus the CF will mop up all the smells from you smoking.

if you intake from your loft you may have to use a heater to keep your grow room warm this time of year (I mean at lights off)
