Hi Shiro,

Don't know if i'd be too keen on blacking out windows mate.

Not really a good idea to be honest. If the neighbours are nosey, they are going to wonder
what is going on behind those blacked out windows, same goes for the law.

Better off, if you have to seal off a window, to go for white / black / white sheeting.

This goes around the inside of the window frame, but leave the white net curtains up at the window (if you have them)
so it would be: window glass, net curtain, sheeting. From the outside, you can't see the window has been covered, because the sheet is the same colour as the net curtain.

A lot safer IMHO.

If you have no net curtain, get creative and use a window sized flag, (national, footbal team, rugby team etc etc, just don't use a 'free the weed' flag/poster :-)

Whatever you do, don't put black sheet against a window, too many people want to know why.

Go to Halfords, get a tin of spray black matt paint, the stuff you use for scuffs on car bumpers and matt surface trim. About a fiver. Dry in five minutes, hardwearing.
