Hi there I recon i have LSF,

Ive had it for a few days now, picked off most of the leafs which have been infected. there are a few left thoe.

I just whent to B&Q since its the only place open and they had a few things but i picked Fungusclear 150ml bottle because it says its safe to use around pets and children.

but now i got it home it says contains 15.25g/l of penconazale.

it also says its last for 2 weeks.

should i use it (will it be safe long as i stop using it 3weeks before harvest? or just use it for tonight then get the proper stuff) or should i wait til tomorrow and try to go down to the local shop.

Thanks
The Sheriff
Read HERE mate .
I had it the same time as you , What happens you pick the leaves of and it takes away all the source energy in the plant , so it grows scrawny , totally cropable , but not what youre after , i didnt treat mine but i will next time .

Whent down to me local shop and brought Dr Hornby Piranha, which has trichodemia in.

I sprayed it over my leafs and 3days later it seems to be working!
The spots stoped getting bigger and seem to be disapearing on the top leafs.

Thanks for the help Sheriff

The bloke in the shop also suggested I get some better soil, at the moment am using asda multicompost.

I noticed a lot of people are getting LSF, is there a connection of using cheap compost?

Am gonna buy bio-bizz all mix off of him because its fairly cheap.

Bath room extractor and lots of holes at the bottom. 125W Blue 125w red and 70w sodium secruity light.

Nope, that's why you're getting LSF. Inadequate ventilation - fungus loves damp, still, warm air - which is what you'll have in your box....

Been there, T-shirt wink1.gif sort your environment properly and all your problems will magically dissappear sorcerer.gif

My ventalation is a bathroom extractor at the top of my cuboard which goes on to a chimley i made, and have lots of holes drilled on the bottom shelf and more holes drilled just below the door at an angle so light doesnt come in.
I also added in an extra household fan to move the air around a bit more.

This is my first grow but it doesnt feel very damp in there and it does feel like fresh air is coming in.

I foret a bathroom extractor was ok because thats what it said in the FAQ
"For small spaces a basic DIY kitchen/bathroom extractor fan can be used, but for anything larger than 1 m2 a more powerful ‘in line’ fan will be required."

But if you recon it is becouse of ventalation how would you suggest i improve it?
