dead simple guys n gals,i got some SKUNK seeds waiting to be germed...just wanting to know what folk know about this strain???...its from CERES seeds.

It may have been related to Skunk No.1, but its been Affied to hell and back then.
Skunk No.1 used to need 65 - 70 days. Back when it was indeed a 75% Sativa. Now I think its more like a 25% Sativa. Its the same with all the seedbanks I think. I dont know whether there are any more true Skunk lines being used TBH.
I have Sensi's current release. Its the same, done at 56 days. A good smoke, but not in the same league as Skunk No.1 from 10 yaers ago. Different looks, different smell, different hit.

Just planted some skunk 1's from sensi a couple of weeks ago, was assuming they took about 9 weeks, i ignore what the breeders say as gernerally it's a load of crap.

So the original skunk 1 isn't available now? I was looking forward to a more Sativa hybrid

i mean even as a total novice in the growing game its obvious enough to me that most plants/strains,whatever ya call em have at some point been foooooked with geneticly to enhance this or that...so my point is...what is an original?????

I always thought skunk1 was the original that came out in the 80's. Anybody know about Flying Dutchmans version The Pure, i couldn't decide between the two, figured they were both the original so got the easiet one i could get my hands on.

Ah well, couple more weeks veg then into flower, see what they're like then.

i grew the pure for my first grow last year i vegged it in the greenhouse and flowered it under a 600 watt hps i got a huge crop off 4 plants and it was a good smoke ive done 2 grows since and bought a bit too but i have not had anything that was as good as the pure i will be growing it again..

i didn't weigh it but i got 4 coffe jars full and also a pasta jar which is 2 foot tall also filled to the top it lasted us for ages, it can grow pretty tall though i cut one of the plants to half the height as it was trying to push the greenhouse roof off this was just before going under the hps it grew four colas from lower branches i would say go for it i was a complete novice made up my own compost from leafmould molehill soil and sheepshit fed them on tomorite and still got a good crop good luck let me know how you go on and what you think of the smoke
