Hi all,
just started 5 Warlock and 10 Motavation feminised beans in Westlands Multipurpose + JI.
I'll start a separate test diary for the Mota when the little'uns have sprouted.
May all our grows this year be green and bountiful.

Good luck Dr, although I am sure your Green fingers will be better than luck!
Will keep an eye on this as the Warlock is something that has caught my eye a few times!!

Looking forward to seeing your shots of filth, are we keeping with the blue themed backdrops or are you having a new year change?

Hi Felix,test grower for Magus?
Hardly old bean, but I offered to do some more for Gerrit as I only grew one plant, turned out very nicely, but as I said to Gerrit,I can hardly say I know the strain having only grown one pheno,so that's why I'm doing a double whammy now along with the Warlock so that'll be interesting having them side by side.
Got some Bangi F2's going in as well for a bit of Sativa balance.
Going by what I've read here about the Warlock I think I should expect more from her than the Mota
but we'll see.

Hi Markymark, thanks for dropping in mate, yes, the Warlock have had some great reports so am looking forward
to seeing how they do and am already inspired by Philcanaries great Warlock diary.
Cheers Bart,I'll do me best mate.
Yo Withnail,as regards the backgrounds I do wanna find something else to use as a background but until I do I
want to learn to change the background colours with my pc and hope to get dead cleva IT girl Scoobs to
give me a little tuition.

Good luck Dr.
Cant wait to see how this one turns out, all the best mate, for the grow and the new year.

Jan 2 2008, 07:58 PM
Hi Phil,
I'd think you'd have to ask Gerrit that,but my batch No. is W 07 P 01.
Hi Dr GT,all the best for the New Year mate.
Gerrit
Jan 2 2008, 09:21 PM
Yes, these are from the new batch that is designated for the stores in Feb.
The parents are the same as the previous batch, only this time "cross pollination" is ruled out 100%.
This will be a very nice one to watch since there are enough plants grown to get a proper image of the stability.

Hi Gerrit,
1 Warlock girl has popped up to date, but its still early days.
you got the MAGUS bug now dr rock............looking at my girls i think i may well be converted too............Mota to try next...........

Jan 10 2008, 12:53 PM
Hello Doc,
Just one so far huh, hmm they should have shown by now according to my own tests a few weeks ago.
If they don't come up in the next 3 to 4 days, please crack one open and have a look at the content if it's still a healthy white embryo or rotten.
I'll assume they where in the same medium and conditions as the Motavation and never dried out?
In my own tests more than half came up within 6 days (no pre-soak, just straight in soil) and I had 59 out of 60 after 10 days, so if they don't show soon there might be something wrong.

No worries Gerrit,
that's Shiva my puddy tat, just checking the 3rd seedling to come up and will dig out the other 2 in a coupla days time if they don't show.
I got 10/10 with the Motavation which shared the same seedling tray and growing conditions as the Warlock.

Jan 10 2008, 01:04 PM
Thanks Doc. 3 out of 5 sounds a lot better already, I'll guess they are just teasing us, typical female behaviour

Good to see some more movement, put a bet on it the others have popped before you start digging about!!
Couldn't let my cat anywhere near my grow, she would would dig out the pots and add her own fertiliser!!

so hopefully 100%.

Nice one Doc

, i'm impressed with the germ rate of Gerrits beans, 100% on this side as well although i'm a bit worried about 1 of the Biddy's Sisters - the seedling has popped through the soil fine but it's looking really dark in colour

, hopefully it pulls through tho, Baz

That's both the Warlocks and Mota and Bangi F2(foreground) and 1 Super Silver Haze.
The NL5H is a no show,both seeds I'm afraid.
Pukka Sensi Seeds ones as well and was gifted them by a member.

I should add that the 5th Warlock has sprouted making it 100% germination in both my Magus grows.

Exactly the reason why I am looking at the Magnus genetics, they seem to have really worked on their range, which is not something that can be said about some other seed banks!!
Good going Doc, already looking good and only early days!!

Hi Neo and Wasabi,
well there are my Warlocks after a pot up and have gone into Canna Terra Pro as I can't get Westlands with JI in large bags around here and they will be fed with Bio Bizz so hopefully I'll be leaving the chem food darkside for good.

Cheers Spudly mate.
Previous shot is a Mota, sorry for the mix up.
All 5 Warlock girls are a touch pale and were potted up into 3 1/2 ltr pots a coupla days ago so we'll just have to wait to see whats occuring methinks?
dr rockster
Feb 4 2008, 01:15 AM
Hi Whazzup,
as I say I potted up a coupla days and its rich compost which is why I'll give em a day or so but will probably
have to give a lil feed, just wanted your comment first.
dr rockster
Feb 7 2008, 01:32 AM
Well I've had to cull one girl as she had a bad fungal infection but the rest seem stable now after treatment
and have been given their first feed as they were a tad pale.
Citro did'nt help in this instance and the remaining 4 girls were affected but no other plants in the same grow
are showing any symptoms.
thats a nightmare DR.......get that trich onto them........
Gerrit
Feb 8 2008, 04:35 PM
Hi Doc.
Sorry to hear that, lets hope the other 4 will pull through.
Strange that only the Warlock got infected though, did they look less healthy than others before they got infected, and if so, any idea why?
Gerrit

Feb 8 2008, 04:49 PM
Hi Gerrit,
the Warlocks started out as healthy as the Mota(all 10 doing real nice

)but all Warlocks were affected and as I think I said I had to cull one as all fan leaves were hit.
But its no big deal as they've been treated and stabilised(fingers crossed!)but they were the only ones of 5 strains I've got going at the moment that were affected but new growth seems good with no more crap appearing.
You can see 3 or 4 of the Warlocks in the pic(mid lhs against wall) as they have some pale leaves,Mota back right.
No worries Gerrit mate

Hi Doc,
sorry to hear about losing 1 of the Warlocks to a fungal infection

, thankfully it never crossed over to the other tho

, the garden is coming along sweet as usual bro

, peace, Baz

Feb 16 2008, 10:25 PM
Hi Baz mate,
I've lost 3 as it happens and had to spray with Rose clear(bifenthrin + myclobutanil)as this particular lsf wasnt being checked by Citrofresh.
That sorted it nicely and don't have any more leaves showing infection but I'm giving them a mild feed(0.8ml/ltr) as they were going pale even though they were quite recently potted up.

, how long does it usually take you to water/feed all the plants in the garden?, i take my hat off to you squire

because it takes me about an hour and that's just 3 plants, it's gonna take me years of growing to be able to get to this level, props to you man
