Not the best pics but you can just about see that the newest growth on these little biddys is purple. Bit weird

aint never seen that before.
Click to view attachmentClick to view attachmentIs this normal for biddy? Is it some kind of problem? It's only happened on 2 of 4 biddy's and none of the 20 odd seedlings and clones.
Any ideas?

I've seen it on Flo & Cinnamon this year, and Early Girl. I always put it down to cool temps.

Hello Dr. B.A.
This is pretty common among the Biddy's Sister and will disappear when the leaves grow.
I would normally put it down to low temps just as Organic Jim, but many test growers have reported this phenomena even in mid summer (late starters) and I have seen it myself as well on plants that where grown while temperatures where good, so it seems that its not caused by the environment.
I don't see any pros or cons for it though, except maybe that some growers considered it rather cute.

this happens to my plants to quit often regardless of the strain then it disapears as they get bigger it doesnt seem to have any adverse effects, and they grow perfectly healthy.
