Full Version: Blue Cheese

Just before Christmas my locale was pretty dry. Nuff poor budz about, nothing worth smoking really, gutted. I met this one new link who gave me some 'Blue Cheese'. It was still abit sticky I reckon about, well very sticky. But the Budz were dense and compact and boy did it smell pungent! I mean you could smell it across the room while it was in a baggie in a drawer. It stunk! describing smells has never been my strong point but it was kind of a Sour citrus smell.
Anyway I was buzzin. I wrapped up a jay @ my usual 0.5 gram standard, sat back and sparked it up. It tasted strong, full of flavour. About 15 minutes later I was wired! And I mean Stoned with a cerebaral effect too. I was almost overwhelmed by it. This stuff was rocket fuel. I'd even go as far to say its been the strongest hit of a spliff ive had all year. I dont think I smoked another splif that night I was just too high, I couldnt believe it!
I'm usually an 1/8 a day smoker. This 1/8 of so called 'Blue Cheese' lasted me 6 dayz!!!! I had to start smoking 0.2 gram spliffs and it was still getting me blasted. Infact I was almost scared of smoking 0.5er again, so I didn't!!!
Ive never really been a Cheese fan. Never really understood what all the fuss is about. Yeah its an suposed original UK clone only strain, thats great but as for the business end ive never really enjoyed smoking it. But this 'Blue Cheese' WOW! Double WOW, Triple WOW! You get the picture!

I dont know the grower to ask what it's genetics are or the pheno that I smoked or if its really called 'Blue Cheese'. So i'd like to put it out there and ask the wonderful world of UK420. Has anyone had any experience with 'Blue Cheese'. rom my description does it sound like a strain called 'Blue Cheese'. What are the Genetics? Who's got the genetics. Is it a clone only Stain? Any Info?
If I can amass enough information this is deffinatly a strain id grow, no questons asked. I'm not saying its the best bud i've ever smoked, but its been the best ive smoked in 2007 just for the quality, appearance, aroma , taste and effect.

This so called 'Blue Cheese' Rocks.....

hi LargeSalad allot of people dont like it solely because its made by bigbuddah or how ever his name is spelt but i dont care. Nothing else even gets a sniff where i am if blue cheese is about people dont want to know about other strains simply because of the smell once you have that stuff near you its the strongest bud ive ever smelt but then i haven't seen or tried the original cheese.

Wouldn't expect the original to taste the same as well different genetics and all, apparently the blueberry gives it its nice cerebral and tasting high and the cheese gives it the kick and that wicked smell ive heard people selling 1/8 @ 1.8g and getting away with it now thats stupid. On a side note its a small yielder from my experience. Just adding my input never sell weed its just to good for that.

any1 selling henry's at 1.8g is a cunt they should say its only a teenth and its 20/25quid whatever and wait for the laughter... fair enough it may be really really nice but if some1 says to me a eighth then i presume they mean 1/8 of a oz and then if its 3.5ish all fair but 1.8g wtf tell em to stick it up there arse... 34.gif whatever next

sayin that its reached a new level round my way..

A guy i know grows blue cheese and your right it stinks properly. The taste is very nice and the hit quite strong. Now i had this after it was a month cured and it was lovely, but i subsequently smoked the same batch at 2,3 and 4 months cured and it just got stronger and more smelly the longer it cured. This stuff stank in a sealed jar ffs. Top smoke, better than mazzar in my book and thats saying something.

Sounds lush mate, would love to try it, I really need to get my act together and get my self a flat, it's the no.1 goal for this comming year. The skunk game is getting worse than ever n' all, prices sky rocketing.

This is another strain to add to my wish list.

Blue Cheese Parentage:

Phat filters are probably the best filters you can buy, maybe your getting confused with the odour sock which is crap.

I got some Bleu Cheese from Barny's a few weeks back in the Dam. I posted some back & was lucky the parcel didn't get smelled out!

I normally wrap the bag of weed in cellotape, then 4 layers of cling film, then cellotape then 2 more clingfilm layers, then into a DVD case- cellotaped & clingfilmed & thjings don't smell. This BC was stinking the moment I cracked the DVD case when it arrived!

Amazing smoke, lovely smell, lovely taste - a pure toke with the best high. I had no trouble finishing a loaded J though, or finishing off 15 grammes in around a week, along with the super silver haze I had too wink.gif The first 3 grammes blew me away though, it's always a tolerance thing, switching strains every few days seems to sort that though thumbsup.gif

Not sure if it's the same as BBCheese, 'cause I ordered some BBC from 420 for next year. Might have to get both my carbon filters going simultaneously with this one though! rofl.gif

£10 a wet Gram jesus is this how bad things are getting what happened............ sad.gif

I think BC has only a moderate smell while vegging and in flower to be honist if you have a good fan on slow you carnt smell it till you brush against it or something but you deffinatly need a filter thou. the smell in veg even small is so distinct its the smell thats kinda related/associated with MJ so people can tell what it is straight away, but when the smell really becomes a problem is when you manicure the finished buds OMG serious trouble if you haven't made proper arrangements.

Its also nice to smoke after just being dried the standard way (i.e. hung upside down for 7-14 days) cure will make it better but some would say isnt really necessary but with me most my bud gets curred for some amount of time as i dont smoke it all at once so..........

Im really interested in the BBC as thats supposedly closer to the normal cheese but people haven't finished off there grow diary's or reports so its hard to see if its worth it or is better than BBBC with a higher yield, im also interested in the other company's version of cheese is the green house one the closest version to the original to date at the moment?

Can anyone tell me if the uk420 shop will be getting this back in stock and when if pos?

Was going to make an order but would like to add this now.smile.gif

Give me another 8 weeks and I will give out a smoke report, although I have only heard good things about Blue Cheese!

I had a 100% germination rate with the seeds but have got a right mix match of strains, from stocky Indica;s to Lanky sativa's, just need to find out which one is best! wink.gif
