hi all going amsterdam on the weekend, and i remember a few people saying to go and visit harlem and rotterdam i was wondering if anyone could suggest which one i should go to ? or should i go to both places are they close ? and what coffee shop's i should visit ?.... thank's son.

sonicgrow, i reckon you should go haarlem, closer to dam 15-20min by train,than rotterdam, which is 45-1hr train, also if you dont know where your going rotterdam is a big place to find a smoke! i heard willie wortels in haarlem has some top bud/hasj nice one bloke!bb

Very true, Rotterdam is not a good place to head from Ams for the day to try pot! A bit far out!! Search out the best in Dam, it'll take a while to find them!

Definitely Haarlem, 15 minutes and about 2 quid by train, and there is a Willie Wortels diagonally across the from the train station, try to get one of those laminated map guides to coffeeshops etc, they have all three Willie Wortels and the Teehuis marked on the nice street map of Haarlem. I can't remember where I got mine, just picked it up in Barney's or somewhere I think, it's a freebie.

barney's has loads of flyers for everything by the door as you walk in......

and if it's cold out, close the bloody door behind you..........

yep, the people who do it going in,can feel the looks,

if it's left open by someone leaving the whole place looks to the door and tuts,

i've spent hours idling away,(it's nice to sit near the window.........)

a good place to sit and just "people watch............."

i can taste that mekong haze now,just thinking about it........
