Can I have a few opinions on Chronic...

I like the smoke... had some quality chronic in the Dampkring.

How does it yield? Is it easy to grow?

me too, i'm thinking of doing chronic outside next year.

I`ve Just started germing 11 chronic beans, im hoping its gonna be goood stuff

was gonna say the same Brad, Prawns produced some amazing chronic buds, the only thing is not to top this particular strain as it doesnt respond well, other than that its a winner, Rj

No worry, plenty of headroom

Serious Seeds' have a very very good germination rate too, I had 11 chronic seeds and they all germinated no problem and quickly too.

Im growing some now, I got 8 females out of 10 seeds. Batttling LSF and the borg right now though, cant tell what the yields likely to be yet and I had more problems this grow than I did with my first. They aint stinking like my durga mata did either (im about 40 days into flower)

I have a chronic mum and have to say its the one I always come back to , very big yeild ,nice smoke , good stong high , even topped it and still got the big yeild , not the fastest to clone though.

estabilshed get yourself a sulfume hotbox mate my rooms never been so problem free .

my grow drobe is only 135cm x 75xm (1m2) it says



does that mean its too much for my drobe and may suffocate the plants or what?

i've grow chronic what a borrowed from a friend,my two mothers projucie cuttins as quick as 1 week there not like the normal chronic as thay throw loads of small buds still a good yuilder !

there very stong plants to grow, as i grow in hydro miss haps can happen but they still pull throw!

established not to sure about that , I know they are very helpfull with their email advice though .

Hi,i grow chronic for over 5 years after trying all manner of strains and i found it easy to grow and it gave very good yeids with out losing the quality.
The only thing i found a problem is at first i was told not to top them so in your crop you can some times get run aways which can end up doulbe the size of the others,which can cause problems for lighting.
I tried tying them down ect,but in the end i just topped them and it did not seem to effect yeild.
They grow well in soil and hydro and i had very little problems with this strain apart from things like black fly larve in the rootzone which you can get with any strain.
Bottom line is i have grown bubble gum(that was a cracker ),white widow,northen lights,white russian,big bud blue berry ect ect but chronic was the one i stuck with and grow the most has when i first started growing i keeped trying different strains swapping and changing,which can be a pain has each strain has is own little likes and dislikes.
i got to know how to get the best from it and that is why i have stuck with it.
Give it go it will give good yeild and quanity

I was wondering when someone would mention these, no one seems to use em/ Very popular in canada i believe, i only noticed them when i saw one in the growshop by me. Dunno if i would wanna use it it late flower though

hi mate I used mine in early flower for about 7 days @12 hours a day , I have not seen a single mite since , not sure about late flower though ? I assume your woried about leaving a residue on the bud ?

Has anyone grew out the purple pheno Chronic?, seen some pics of it in a mag and it looked awesome

Yeah i was thinking too late in flower would leave sulphur on the buds, and that wouldn't be nice. They do look handy things to have.

Totally agree with most of the posts about Chronic.. good yielder, nice smoke and mine had a wonderful subtle fruity smell to it. Would like to do it again soon in a SOG/SCROG from clone.... bet it would be somethin special

@ claypol : fancy doing either NYCD or SS Bubblegum in the future, can you adcise the yield, smoke quality, of Bubblegum in comparison to Chronic ?

i grow the serious chronic only; easy and large yeilds. your talking about a SULPHUR EVAPORATOR that mists sulphur fumes throughout the grow room and kills powdery mildew and mould. this will kill the airborne and bud mold dead. 1 side effect is it will kill mites and insects to. its better to taste a little sulphur the smoke black mold that can grow in your lungs.

if you want something better then invest in an OZONE GENERATOR - 1 of the portable kinds not a swimming pool type

After reading up on these hotbox's you deffo dont want to use them when you got bud sites appearing, I'd suggest 1 week into flower is the last time you can give them a blast. You can use them to fumigate the room between grows too and then frequently in veg as a preventative.
