Hi everybody,

I dont know if we are allowed to even ask or talk about it, but I need advice buying seeds. I think here it would be a place people with experience could point me to the right direction. If this is a forbidden subject or whatever, then I apologize.

I am in the US and I need to buy top quality seeds. Now I have seen the uk420 shop, and I am aware that they seem to have seeds from excellent seed banks, however for logistical reasons I cannot buy with uk420.

Im looking for top quality seeds, price is not an issue, but I rather buy directly from a bank instead of a middle man. Basically I am looking for a really reputable seed bank, with top notch service and seeds strains, that accept credit card or paypal and ships discretelly to the US.

I appreciate any leads... thank

I'm afraid it's not permitted to discuss other commercial enterprises on the site, so noone would be able to give you any details, but you are going to have problems finding anyone prepared to sell seeds to you within the US -

The US have been arresting foreign sellers for selling seeds to people within America - Mark Emery, the 'Prince of Pot' is possibly the highest profile victim of this policy - here's an article I found on the DEA website about his problems, from July 2005

"Prince of Pot" Arrested by US-Canadian Task Force
Major Distributor of Marijuana Federally Indicted in Seattle, Washington

JUL 29--(Seattle, WA) The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and the Halifax Police Department arrested MARC EMERY, 47, of Vancouver, BC, today on a warrant issued from the Western District of Washington in Seattle. EMERY is accused of selling millions of dollars of marijuana seeds over the internet, though the mail, and in person to individuals in the United States and across the globe. The DEA, in an investigation of EMERY has traced his seeds to illegal marijuana crops in Indiana, Florida, California, Tennessee, Montana, Virginia, Michigan, New Jersey and North Dakota. An estimated 75% of the seeds EMERY sells are transported to the United States.

“The tentacles of the Mark Emery criminal enterprise reached out across North America to include all 50 United States and Canada,” said Special Agent in Charge Rodney G. Benson of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). “Mr. Emery utilized the internet to sell his marijuana seeds throughout this country to customers no matter their age. He directed his business with efficiency, was motivated by greed, and will now be prosecuted for this illegal activity.”

MARC EMERY has operated Marc Emery Direct since 1994, taking orders for marijuana seeds over the internet and is a well known figure in Canada as publisher of Cannabis Culture magazine, and leader of the BC Marijuana Party. According to the web site run by EMERY, he has made more than $3 million annually, illegally selling marijuana seeds. EMERY claims to stock the largest supply of marijuana seeds in the world and is considered the largest distributor of marijuana seeds. According to court filings, Emery seeds are associated with multiple illegal grow operations across the U.S.

EMERY and co-defendants GREGORY KEITH WILLIAMS, 50, of Vancouver, BC and MICHELLE RAINEY-FENKAREK, 34, of Vancouver, BC are charged with Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana, Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana Seeds and Conspiracy to Engage in Money Laundering. The charges carry penalties of 10 years to life in prison.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Washington has filed an extradition request with Canada asking that all three defendants be brought to Seattle to stand trial.

Oh well, what a shame the current state of afairs...

Let me ask something else then:

Is Hashplant easier or more appropriate to produce hash then using a traditional strain?

Also between white widow, NL, blueberry and skunk#1 which one would be normally considered the strongest (THC) wise?

Which would have the highest yields?

Thank!

Given the modern advances in hashish production - with things like Bubble-Bags and Isolators etc - first quality Hash can be obtained from any plant with decent, potent resin production.

It would all depend on whether the buds being tested had been grown to their full potential. A poor grower will only ever produce poor buds, no matter what genetics he uses - but a seriously good grower will always take a plant to the fullest expression of its genetic potential. THC levels are generally a marketing ploy IMHO. I rate the simple "smoke it and see" test way above any precentage figures when it comes to assessing Cannabis, and I aso rate some of my growing friends' opinions more highly than I do seed-packet blurb wink1.gif

Urm, same again. It would all be down to how expert the grower was, and how suitable the growroom environment, medium, nutes, extraction etc etc etc. A poor grower will get only poor yields, an expert will get huge ones wink1.gif That said, some seed companies will say that certain strains are "commercial" (= "Yields like a bastud"), but even so - you need to develop your skills to allow the plant to achieve this potential.

rofl.gif Sorry, but there aint no easy answers sometimes M8.

Ok, I still need to know whats good genetics, to proceed and get good seeds... and then attempt to become a good grower. Fact is, Im not planting bag seed again, so I guess I got to work with either facts or opinions tongue.gif

also regardin "potent resin production" for hash making, I would bet that some strains are better then other... any thoughts?

thanks m8
