Hey folks, last spliff of the night after having my ass kicked at poker and whilst educating myself on the relative photoperiods of lettuce & tomatoes (I have space in my rooms and nothing better to do..). I got to wondering about comfrey the 'wonderplant' and thought I'd check into the knowledgebase that is uk420.
I've seen this stuff growing at Ryton organics centre and it apparently makes an extremely good fertiliser when broken/rotted down in water, and does so rather quickly too.
Has anyone tried using this stuff for cannabis? I have to say I love the idea.
Thoughts? Comments? Derision?

Hi Lupes, last summer I made a really easy comfrey extract for a flowering feed. Here's what you do...
Get a lidded bucket, preferably with a tap. Put some large, irregular stones in to allow drainage, fill brim full with comfrey leaves and stems, put the lid on and wait. The rich black liquid runoff is very concentrated, I diluted 10ml to 2 Gal.

Thanks very much for the info Jim, I think another trip to Ryton with my trowel & trug is in order. Its got to be worth a try.

OT...thankyou, I should have known there would be existing posts on the subject. Just another quick question...if I'm chased out of the organic centre for trying to 'borrow' some live rootcuts, where can you buy seeds/living plants? Its not something I've seen in garden centres locally.
Cheers for the info.
