Not sure if there's anyone out there acting as support for seedism but am wondering if the Ultimate indica strains take well to being topped?

Thanks!

Hi

It really depends on your space and how you wish to grow your plants.
I also would not top the Indica plants, i preffer to grow SOG style, but i have seen/grown these strains both ways.
In the Cannabis College some of these strains had three months veg. and were topped a few times before they flowered.

Let me know more about your growroom/area, size-height, maximum amount of plants, are you going to make a motherplant or flowering straight from seed?

thanks

Hi amsterdammer,

My grow space is 3.5 x 2.5 ft and about 10ft high. I like to top everything if possible. I know I can fit 8 topped plants in there as long as I don't veg for too long. I've germinated 16 seeds (4 of each strain) although the blueberries don't wanna crack out of their seeds. Been 4 days now and still no show cry.gif.

I'm not going to be making any mums out of any of these this time. I wanna see what they grow like first and what the buds are like. So yeah they will all be flowered from seed.

I was initaiily thinking of growing these in a sea of green styley but I want the maximum yield possible and if I only get 5 or 6 fems growing SOG in 3ltr pots then I aint gonna get much.

Any help or advice is much appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Wiz

There should be no problem topping them for a SOG style grow and you should get quite the yield from these strains.
Blueberry seeds....I have also noticed that they germinate a lot slower, the germination tests took between 5-7 days to germinate where the other seeds cracked within 2-5 days.

good luck

Hi bro,

Yeah I think I'm going to give these 2 weeks in 3" pots and then pot up to 2 litre pots, give them a few more weeks veg and then sex em. Depending on the male / fem ratio I'll take it from there whether to top or not.

I was wrong about the blueberries, they've actually been in tissue since the 27th Nov. One did actually break the shell and show a tap root. That's been in soil for about 3 or 4 days. I had a dig around the pot last night and it's not growing at all, still just about 4mm of taproot sticking outta the shell. Quite gutted really cry.gif I'm not giving up on the just yet though.

The others are doing good....
