Hi all, after growin in mud for quite a few years ive decided to try hydro and use a NFT table..

I ordered some VitaLink Max nutes not realising there was a A and B. Well ive ordred 2L of the A DOHHH.

Ive got some cuttings going into Rockwall cubes soon and i cant afford the 'B' till 3 weeks or so.

My question in can i just use the A at 1/4 strength for a few weeks in the starter cube. Would i be better using 1/4 strength bloom or just a drop or two of Tomotoright ?? I have enough space in my screen for 4 plants but my NFT tray is only 0.75m by 0.5m and 2inches deep (PLease forgive the jump to inperial) will 4 plants be to many. They would sit 2foot from a air cooled 400W Sont and be fed vitalink nutes (ill start adding bloom ect when ive cut my teeth on this first N.F.T.

Any ideas folk ??

theres hard water & soft water versions avail in bloom formula or grow, every time I order grow or bloom I get sent bottle a & b its a two part nutrient doubt it would work without the other part....

I didn't know you could buy them seperatly?!?!

Maybe enquire at the place you bought them - perhaps they'll just swap them over for you?

Not having tried it, i can't say but i doubt you can use one without the other. If i were in the same situation - i'd use another feed of some sort until the VitaLink was sorted out.

It looks like he's bought 2L of just the 'A' part - I thought that most places sold the A+B as a package, too.

wud canna aqua a +b be any good to ya?? i bought the wrong stuff ages ago, sat in me cupboard doin nowt, if ya got a safe address i'll send em to ya if ya want!!!!!!!

It is probably the shops fault, they should of sent you A+B, don't think you can buy it on it's own, infact would be useless to be able to buy it seperate since you need equal amounts of both so it would be pointless. Check with the shop or where you bought it.

Are you sure you do not have A and B, they look the same except there is A and B written on them, bloom is different colour completly.

get onto the shops back and munch their ear down the phone! they should of sent you a and b,i dont know any shops that sells them as single,allthough i could be wrong.

The shop is about a hour from me so iv been over today and they swapped the A for a B. They were very opologetic and lashed me up wiv tea and bickys.

And some free rockwool starter cubes for me grow as i forgot to order them..
