Full Version: Anyone Grown White Widow From White Label Seeds?
Yeah, I grew a pack out some years ago. The following is entirely my opinion, and based on my growing out of just the one pack. In other words, others may have a totally different experience 
It was what it was, White Widow, Dutch style. Heavy duty. But I hated it, simply because the taste was minging, as was the smell. Grandparental urine springs to mind. Absolutely vile. But then, folks are divided on the Widow, often because of the taste. Like Marmite you either love it or hate it.
I used an impressive looking male to do some hack crosses. He dusted both a Skunk No.1, and a G13xHashplant from Sensi. The resulting hacks were very pleasing, the taste was excellent and the hit in the top league. I still have some of those seeds and writing this has made me want to pop one or two into some compost. Maybe I will early next year. I found the hacks were stronger and more tastey than either parent.
So yeah, its a good strain to grow if you like the WW taste. Even if not, it can be used for hacking. Hit wise - get the sofa ready, you're coming in to land like it or not!
Forgot to mention: Growth wise I found this quite stretchy, and not too hungry, easy to overfeed! Quite an energetic/fast grower. But do leave headroom when going 12/12, some of mine trebled in height, easy.

ive been looking at white widow seeds as this is my favourite strain ov weed i smoked it 10 years ago an the taste was awesome and the high unbeleviable m8 and again i went to DAM bought white widow and it tasted and smelt awesome not pissy must ov been the seeds m8 
im going to go for the doggies nuts version as the cheaper seeds tend to be what they are cheaper versions ov better seeds so it up to u really but its worth the extra money, just mother 1 and take cuttins then u get ur monies worth!!!!!

p.s look at DP white widow, it doesnt even look like widow it has no white resinos glands on it in the pics they use anyway weird as fuck the pics put me off em!!!!

Dude, forget pukka seeds.
If you want the real White Widow, buy Mr Nice's Black Widow. It's cheaper and will have far better parentage than the pukka one.
yes i have grown white widow from white label,the seeds were quite big,dark brown with black like lightning strikes.seemed like good quality.the flowering dragged for me,i had four ww under one 600w sodium.didnt taste very good in my opinion,smelt ok,but they was FULL of THC-being the one good thing out of it all.cant really compare to other companies as once i grown these i was put off.I also had NL from the same place,didnt get a chance to flower tho (got raided).
