Do you guys think a straight 50/50 cross of a sat and indica would act as good balanced stone for someone who has Bipolar?

I know there's a lot of Bipolarites on here and I'd like to hear from anyone who has tried this idea in the past and the results they had.

I'm planning my next grow and I'd like to experiment with a straight cross and 2 other strains leaning more to the indica side, but not 100%.

One strain that particualy interests me is Afropips Nigerian X Afghan

I don't think there is a single strain that would suit a manic depressive all the time (least not the manic depression I have). Summat that I smoke that's fine when I'm manic wouldn't necessarily be right when I'm depressed, and vise versa. When I'm depressed couchlock smokes aren't that good, cos they make me even less inclined to get off my arse and so stuff. When I'm manic up, buzzy sativas aren't too god cos they can make me edgy and anxious, occasionally even triggering panic attacks. In an ideal world I'd smoke indicas when I'm manic and sativas when I'm depressed. I think a 50/50 strain is a compromise, neither ideal for mania or depression, but not necessarily exacerbating either. A sative when depressed can really help, giving you the energy & get-up-and-go that you lack, an indica when manic is equally helpful to calm the beast in your head and bring you back down to earth.

A woman I know suffers bi polar so I was interested in this thread as she s asked if I might help her with a little gro next year.Think boojum hit the nail on the head as people suffering this are up and down it would take 2 differing highs at different times otherwise a strain could do more bad than good.The said person has lively "episodes" regular so Im gonna go for an indica with her. 908
