Anyone tried Black Widow? Had my first taste last night, and I must say it was a fabulous smoke in all ways. Nice warm fuzzy feeling, quite a talkative high.

Seeds are available at £50 for 15. Anyone got any experience with this strain? I'm thinking of it for my next purchase.

No rush...I've got to get a successful grow under my belt first blushing.gif

Hi,

Black Widow is exactly the same strain as white widow, at least green houses version of it, a couple of years ago the original breeder of white widow called shantibaba parted company with greenhouse and formed a nw seed company with howard marsk called Mr Nice Seeds, changed the name, but its the the same as what is sold by greenhouse as white widow. Never tried buds from black widow seeds but white widow is ok smoke not my fave tho.

peace

So you're saying that it's white widow with a different name then? I must have got it wrong - could it be called Blackbeard?

It was not the White Widow I know and love, that's for sure.

Thanks for the history lesson though - where'd you find all that out?

Edited for spelling...

Hi Unit,

If you go over to CannabisWorld , they have help desks there where most of the big seed companies have there own forum for discussing their strains, advise ppl on growing them etc. I read it on the Mr Nice forum, but it is also mentioned in less detail in the description of the strain you'll get at the UK420 store.

Ive never heard of blackbeard, heard ppl going on about redbeard skunk round here but i think its just like a local name that someones given some commercial bud, african seeds do make a strain called Swazi "Root Bart" which means " Red Beard " in African.

hope this helps
