Leprechan Sweet Leaf
Got some in the box, many different phenotypes. Some extreme sativa looking leaves. Some beautiful indy lookers.

They are a picky lot, some of em are not responding well to my treatment. sad.gif I'm thinking these are not too easy to grow. Got leaf curl upwards on one and of course the lsf that is ripping through the box has not ignored these plants either.

So, has anyone grown out these plants? Any advice on feeding, stretch or anything would be good ta.

Thanks dudes.

The leaf curl upwards is only on one plant.
I am wondering if it is low humidity at the canopy or just a characteristic of the strain. unsure.gif

My meter reads 20% rh but Im not sure its working. I would have thought that the Rh would be very high in there as it is packed at the moment.
Any ideas?

I have grown a few of these and didn't notice leaf curl as a specific problem. I also had a few different phenos and of course had the usual problems trying to make one size fit all with feeding. My pals with long term spider mite issues say that along with the cheese and cheese crosses these esb hacks seem to be a favourite.

Hey S&S! Thanks ever so much for posting. They got good taste those spidermites, eh! I think the sativa phenos are tripping me up with me feeding same levels as the indys and the other plants in my box atm.

Well, I will try to up the relative humidity and have moved the oscilating fan away from the affected plant. I really did get a lot of variety in the eight beans that I germed. Hoping for a keeper or two on either end of the spectrum.

Tbh, I havent really been able to tend the plants as Ive been laid up for the last few days with bad backpain. These should be finished by the new year I think?! And from what I've read of the individual strains in the cross, it will make a nice heavy evening smoke which is exactly what I am needing right now. taz.gif

Cheers mate. smile.gif

if you do a search under my name theres some pics just before flower

heres a pic about 2 weeks in from cuttings..the mite got to much for my area so shut it down and the cutting was lost..
still mister s@s has the best seed collection ive even seen smoke.gif so looking forward to what comes out of the room next yinyang.gif

dont think the sweettooth helped it much ...esb on its own would be nice with the wright pheno

Just spotted this, thanks for the reply Nicedreams.
As it happens I only got 2 females out of 8 beans but they are really goin for it now @ a couple of weeks flower. Very sat phenos. I didnt take cuttings though so if its nice I will be revegging em. Hoping to get at least a 'glimmer of the esb in there anyway as I havent tried it before.

Also I supercropped the tops of the esb/sweettooth yesterday.

Its my first time trying this technique and I am a bit worried that I should have tried on something with stronger branches. Still we shall see if the branches I snapped over will recover.

thanks buds.

Hi Nicedreams, had a lil look at your threads and I see that you said.. "the esbxsweettooth takes 55day @ 13 hours dark".

I am on 12-12 at the moment but I did start a thread about this ( here ) when flowering started as it was then that I could see the sativa traits in these plants.
If you recommend it Nicedreams I will change the photoperiod for sure.

eta: the supercropping is working pretty good. The branches are still alive and hopefully will form 'knuckles' at the bend.

i grew sweettooth #4 dont know if its the same as you are talking of

quite a stout plant, its a prodigeous yeilder... dense fat nugs coated in trichs, rich dark green broad leaves

one thing i found is that the seed plant was of moderate height, but my cuttings didnt grow above 18 inches... nevertheless the colas were huge on these midgets and probably my best ever bush.

there were no problems with staking these pygmies, and they have given me ideas about small box grows if these plants can be replicated. I have some beans left for my next grow.

I have some pics somewhere ill look them out.
