im a little confused today. been waitin for an iso image to download, just downloaded. went to burn to a blank dvdr (4.7GB). It said I needed a bigger one, as image is 5.7GB. So i went all the way to the city center, to pretty much every shop that sells blank disks. And absolutely nowhere had disks with a capacity of more than 4.7 Gb, in fact they were all to that capacity. Do I live in the past, or am I just confused about how to burn the iso images. only discs with more capacity seem to be dual layer discs, but im not certain I can even burn to them with this drive....

anyone can help please, this iso has been downloading for about 1 week, and now i feel devestated sad.gif sad.gif

hey Dead D.!

buy yourself a flash drive or memory stick they sell them now with 8Gb 16, & 32Gb capacity other wise you will have to split the file or at least RAR it!?

Hope this helps?

What is it you are trying to burn, you can buy dual layer disks which burn 8 gig upwards however you would need to make sure you have a dvd dual layer burner. If it is a film you are trying to burn then I can offer a soultion which will enable you to burn it to a 4.7gb dvd disk.

Need more info.

If you do not mind leaving it on the computer rather than burning it to disk you could load the game via opening it using poweriso or magiciso and then click the setup file inside?

Pro evo 08 is wicked, downloaded it for my ps2 as i have it chipped.
Suptra
Hi, you could download deamon tools. With this you can tell deamon to mount the iso image. This will then simulate a dvd drive using the iso, and will appear as an extra dvd drive in my computer.
From here you can install as if it is a normal disc in a drive.

Once installed you may be able to either leave the iso on your hd to play from or crack the gam so it runs from your hd Then, if you like, you can rar the iso into two files (with 0 compression for speed) or compress to 4.7 if poss to burn for backup/archival purposes.

I would go with Suptra, seems the easiest way of doing it, piece of piss as well, the deamon tool will simply mimic a dvd disk, the computer will think it is on a dvd dual layer disk and load it, simply open the file .iso in deamon tools.

Yeah - if your burner isn't a dual-layer one, the easiest solution is as Suptra suggested, to RAR the .ISO image into a RAR archive (using the 'Store' packing setting) spanned over two normal 4.7GB single-layer DVDs, and then to mount the .ISO using Deamon Tools or similar when you want to use it. thumbsup.gif
