Evening all,

I have recently (tonight) connected my Xbox360 to my pc (via the router) and it all works fine except some of the films I have downloaded do not appear on the Xbox's menu, I am guessing that converting them to WMV would fix this ? So my questions are : has any tried this and found the same problem (and solution), where can I get a free avi to wmv converter ?

Or to save a bit of time converting everything you could give Tversity a try. It converts and streams on the fly. I've been using it for months now and once its up and running its a gem of a programe

Or you could just use ffmpeg and it'll all you'll ever need, you can convert just about anything to anything, rip audio streams out of video and convert with high def codecs.

Oh, and I think the licence is GPL, it's free anyways.

Windows Media Encoder will do that.
