Has anyone grown diesel and does anyone even know where i could score some seeds.
Also quite a while back a friend bought round some weed and it stunk of diesel. Cracking heavy smoke. Could this have been diesel ?

hey man, do you mean NYC diesel??? never heard of just diesel although it can be called that... if so you can get seeds almost anywhere online just put NYC diesel into your search bar

soma seeds do nice ones but they are expensive (£100+), places like [spam removed] will sort you out with a pack for around £50-60

Next generation do Romulan Diesel for £50. I know its not pure, but romulan is even better than diesel imho.

I bought some NYCD seeds from Soma - expensive and only a few germed but the results were lovely. Still got a good bit curling away

I've read some good reports about Soma. Has anyone else bought any of his strains? What did you buy and how did they do, in respects to -
-flowering period
-yeild
-odour
-resistance to bud rot! (lost a bit of my last crop of W'W' to the b*****d)

I bought some reservoir nycd nl from seedbay, expensive but worth it plus you get a pack free.

Don't mean to hijack the thread or anything, but I was thinking about growing some NYCD (one day when I have the dosh), what's it like? Is it strong and is it sativa/indica/hybrid?

hiya soma seeds are good mate i grow the NYCD and i have never had trobble with her the yield is very good and the smell is out of this world feel free to have a look at my pics lads shes a killer

Out of 5 seeds only 3 germed resulting in two girls - not bad yielders - approx 3oz dried per plant under a 400W coolshade system in coco. Got a little rot towards the end but managed to get it in time. The smoke is strong and very, very fruity. A head high followed by the desire to eat the contents of the fridge. Lovely!

I have grown it myself and and seen several mate's NYCD crops in the UK and a couple with Sour Diesel in as competition. SD takes a little longer, clearly yields less, but is an even better smoke than RezDog's NYCD. Not a commercial strain, but not too far away, cup winner quality smoke, IMO.

Outdoors NYCD went well in Spain, harvests late Oct. popular with caterpillars, Spaniards.

I thought NYCD was somas strain????

Sorry, you are right, I got confused as RezDog is up to his elbows in Diesel variants.

There is a really good explanation of the whole history that, although just a story, to me has the ring of truth to it.
