Hi guys,

right school boy error here i germed 10 great white sharks last week which was then put into their starter rootriot cubes in the prop whilst waiting to sprout vents closed 110w T5s hung inchs above prop lid misting inside when needed.

These young delicate seedlings were left to do their own thing within the loft grow room but was worried about how cold its been up their recently I decided foolishly to have the heated prop on for 15mins every 2hrs. Unfortunately in a stoned haze(although no excuse) on thursday flicked the switch to 'continuous' rather than 'timmer' : due to a busy schedule yesterday (friday) i never got up their to mist the cubes. When i checked today is safe tonsay the rootriot cubes had dried out completly and all bar 2 have toppled over and as good as fried!

Am really dissapoited/peed off as this was my first pop at starting from seed. Only my 2nd grow and started from clone on my first run. Ive since just gave the cubes a good mist (plain water) stuck again in the prop vents cloed lights again inchs above.

Will they revieve themselves or am i asking for miracles??? Anyhink other i could do? I have some advanced nutrient revieve but wouldn imagine these seedling wouldnt respond as they are only 6 days old and now more or less dead anyway?

Any help would very very much appreciated. A deppresed stoner here indeed.
Cheers

Sorry I read this last night but was too choked up to answer cry.gif

Difficult to say without seeing a photo, but if they don't respond to treatment within 12 hours ....

Gutted for you mate sad.gif

The bottom line is not to coddle seedlings. If it's too cold I reccomend one of those cheap PVC greenhouses and a lamp or two to keep it warm.

Cheers compostverte,

i gave them a good misting lastnight/today and closed the the vents on the prop. Is this my main objective now whilst wating for them to recover ie keeping a humid enviroment misting when needed lots of light...hope and pray lol.gif?

They look a little better today. Tried to post pic but not sure on how to re-size sad.gif

Would more light help them back on their way? currently now using 210w blue T5s (after ordering the extra 2 bulbs) ichs above the prop lid but waht about using the 600 hps hanging a few foot above???
