Hi, i need to know what i need to setup a couple of fluorescent tubes, in my closet i have these starter things, and i fort thats all i would need, but i was wrong.

So i need to know what else i NEED to buy to get these lights going.

Please help me, i want to get back to b&q before tomoz

ps: there some 15w t8s and i have the starters for both lights.

Hi Ryan, welcome to uk420. I'm afraid I don't think anyone is going to be able to help you based on that description. What exactly have you got? What kind of "starter things"? Can you show us pictures? We're not psychic.

At the very least you need a ballast - a coil that provides a high voltage kick to get the lamp going, then drops the voltage / limits the current.

Usually there's a power factor correcting capacitor too.

You can run two tubes in series with one ballast, but I believe the starters are different.
