It is one of the best all round plants to grow and flower since its flowering cycle is +/- 7 weeks in all types of grows especially suited to greenhouses.
High yield and high potency in seven weeks does sound a bit too good to be true?

I'm going to start some soon, so we'll see! I've had an astonishing magic bud and a beautiful flo both finish in seven and six weeks respectively. I'm really looking forward to trying these old school genetics! Roll on Shit Time!!

Ive grown MrNice Shit , vegged 4 plants 3 weeks from seed germination, got 2 females and both took way more than 7weeks, I chopped at 63days / 9weeks and they d still need a week or sould I say two. They kept packing weight and resin.
When breeders say flowering time is say 8 weeks bear in mind that is from clone from a mature plant...not from a 2 week vegged seedplant..
...and most importantly for a certain pheno that is the keeper(from all aspects :production wise and overal quality)...at least thats how it usually is...with most strains from most seedbanks.
Moreover the flowering times mentioned are more likely suited to commercial growing where plants are not fully ripe when chopped. More like chopped at the start of the 'harvest window'.For personal use always add a week to the flowering time.
So in simple words if the pack says 6-7 weeks n you grow from seed its more likely ,with almost all strains, is that you need 7-9weeks to let em fully ripe.
One of the fastest strains I ve grown is Flo btw.Took 6-7 weeks to fully flower.

but if it says 45 days once flowers have appeared isnt that normaly 2 weeks add that on and you have 59 days wich is just under 9 wks

I took a couple to 10.5 weeks and had one hermie.
I'm going to grow them from cuttings next time and plan to go about 9 weeks.
Nice solid bud and an excellent smoke although I had some germination problems.

Plants generally, can be chopped within a , say , 2-3 week period, what one person calls mature/ripe, another might call immature..
I 've seen people take their plants down before even half of the hairs/pistils turn red, not to mention about trichome maturity...
I usually let my plants to mature 'properly' that means to get most calyxes to swell , most/all pistils turn red and/or wait for at least 20-30%of thr trichs to go amber...and 50-60% for pure sativas..Of course its a matter of taste..but you need to get at least ~10-20% amber trichs with any strain to call it mature. So this explains why people have different experiences with a certain strain in many cases.
