I am thinking about my next grow and want something thats no too couchlocky.

I am a big fan of Durga Mata, I love the mellow dreamy body stone it gives me and the best thing its not too couchlocky, I like to have a smoke but also be able to get things done if need be. I do alot of fishing and like to have a smoke when I am out and don't want to be sat there welded to my chair

I am growing a drobe with limited headroom so its got to be a short indica strain.

Basically I am looking for something along the lines of Durga Mata

How about a shortish sat-dom mate? Magic Bud was my first grow and I've also got a drobe, a little bit of bending and it was fine. Not too long to finish, lovely smell but not too pungent in flower, I'd heartily recommend it for a day smoke

go for powerplant excellent daytime smoke, plus goes hand in hand with fishing, well does for me :-)

Everytime I smoke it I just want to do things, even its just to go a for a walk or whatever, its very active. Almost speedy without the gurning!

The only strange thing I have noticed is that usually after smokin a j I dont want to smoke ciggerettes fora few hours but with pp I want smoke a fag a bit more regularly.

I think the uk420 shop have the breeder, do a search for it. Its sat dom, but with bending i kept it around 3.5ft. Flowering say 8 wks but the pheno i have has gone to 10.

I'm into something more speedy for the day also, to stay active.
My next grow will be Mandala's Satori.On their web site they're saying:"a clear, cerebral high and strong potency sets in quickly; it supports concentration & creativity; very inspiring and stimulating. Ideal for writers, artists, musicians, or other creative people." And many members here are also saying only good things about it.I actually didn't try it yet, but if they are telling the truth then it should be great.
...and the price of the seeds is affordable.Think about it.

I wouldn't go with Powerplant personally. It's fine for daytime with the first few tokes but the strength of this puppy is not to be underestimated. I found that after a good smoke of powerplant my brain got gefuddled and when the stone went away it took a lot of my style and grace. Might be fine for fishing though.

Satori is a very nice, tasty smoke - good for daytime - but really very Sativa in effect. As long as you have some indica to balance it with in the evening, then yeah, a good strain to have in the drobe (yields well too).

I'm looking at Speed Queen or Sadhu for my next grow. I'm thinking they might offer the mellow element of the high that PP and Satori don't really have.

Anyway - there's another opinion for you.

You won't go far wrong with SpeedQueen then mate, lifts you up nicely then dumps you on your ass when she's had her way with you. Definately worth a tenner and 3 months of anybodys time.

Tiki Green Devil for Squat Sat Dom - doubt you'll be able to keep still though buzz is ultra-motivational! If you want similar to the Durga then Try Tiki Yarkoum - lovely dreamy indica hit similar to the Durga with a gorgeous sweet, 'purple' flavour I've tried loads and loads of strains over the last couple of years and I now only have the Yark left - it's ace!

I reckon Strawberry Cough is a good daytime smoke it's got a nice easygoing buzz that's not too overwhelming, even though you can feel you've smoked it you can still get on and do stuff, nice flavour too .

Well I just recently finished a white rhino and cut it about 2 weeks too early, noob mistake. But that is my daytime smoke, I find after smoking I just need to get up and do something. I feel this may change drastically though when I leave it for the extra time in the next grow.

Thanks for all the input folks, I am going to do a bit of research on all the strains you guys have sugeested, I have plenty of time as I still have 6 weeks left on my current Durga grow.

I found Hashberry to be a nice daytime smoke. Gives you that body buzz but doesn't hit too hard.

I found hashberry to be quite similar to durga mata in the high department!!!

Just harvested some hashberrys few weeks ago,and i would say its a nice daytime smoke,nice taste and a nice yield of 3oz per plant(3week veg)very easy to grow but watch for the bud mold near the end!Alright daytime smoke but personally i like a stronger smoke and will be trying mazar for my next grow!10/10(mild daytime smoke)4/10(against other strains)not couchlocking so u will be sorted with hb

blueberry would be ideal, she's 1/2 thai and keeps you moving for sure. very creative and up.

grows very tall, even in 4l pots, MUST be lst'd but worth a look...very long lasting - 5-7 hours of tranquility

Any strain cut a little bit earlier before trichomes turn amber should satisfy you ;-)

Another vote for GD - not so much stoned as high. Also NJxOE (hard to get hold of, but you never know) is great for getting stoned but also motivated and its *very* chatty and thought provoking. HDF is is short stocky thing that won't get you too high but you might be disappointed when you do want to get stoned and you can't because it's not strong enough... (first joint works fine, but the next few don't really do much else). Hashberry is another that's very much like HDF only not quite as nice tasting. Hmm... Out of that lot I'd say NJxOE is probably the one you'd like the most, but the GD really is very good and should be experienced. I bet Orient Express is great on it's own - maybe you could try that if you can't get hold of NJxOE?

Thanks for all the input, I have had a look around this site at all the strains suggested and I think I may try the tiki Green Devil for my next attempt, I kind like the sound of and active motiviational high.
