hi lads.if growing under a 1000w lamp is it a good idea to keep a fan on perminent if you have no extracter fans.in take and out take.what i mean by a fan is office desk type.or would it be ok to put it on every few hours say for half an hour at the time.look forward to your replys the fairfield

You really got to have extraction fresh air = co2 = healthier plants

No matter what the power of the lamp, you want constant air movement... in the early stages it stiffens the stems, but generally helps minimise the problems inherent in growing an outdoor plant indoors.

... but you can't grow a plant indoors anyway without an air supply - at the very least by convection.

thank you very much for your reply. but i am limited as to getting a proper set up at the moment.with what i have got would you recomend leaving the fan on for the full 12 hours as i have only 4 weeks to go many thanks the fairfield.sorry about the spelling

thank you very much boys for your replys.only done one crop before will leave the fan on 24/7 dident know it was that importent the fairfeild. by the way thanks for the advice

air exchange is as important as light and water . it also helps manage temps . your plants wont be realising their potential yeild or potency so you need to get it sorted mate
