hi all

thought id treat myself to some more expensive seeds (Mr Nice-Spice £40) than the normal (Nirvana £15) ones i buy.

what a mistake!!! spend £40 on what you think are good seeds & not one of the 15 germinates. i am not amused

i germinated some Nirvana seeds at the same time & every single one of 'em sprouted!!

i have been using a heated propregator & john innes seed compost.

also i have used the damp paper towel in a bowl way as the Mr Nice half didnt germ.

this time i did half with Mr Nice & half with Nirvana... suprise suprise none of the Mr Nice germed & all the others did.

is there a dodgy batch of seeds circulating?? or are Mr Nice always like this? i cant beleive the latter as they would be out of business..

i have been looking at other posts on this subject after my problems & see its happening to others.. not good..

Maybe its the luck of the draw? So far my "hexperience" with Mr Nice been a good one! Which cant be said for others, so I think its just luck?
Some of my radish were enormous this yr, but some werent? You just keep trying....

agreed a nice chap aswell in my experiance

its also thort atleast 1 seed batch got "zaped" in the post by heat and or xrays

How long ago did you plant them?

i tried to germinate them in a heated propogater.. ive never had problems before with this method..


maybe i will PM the Mr Nice bloke... i just dont wanna come across as a moaner

sorry I neglected you guys over on this excellent growers site, my apologies.

I was away for 3 months in Indonesia and came back to a few problems which included some batch seed being compromised somehow. It is a long process to pin point the strains and how it occurred and where, but considering I always keep loose seed from each batch made and test it myself, I can assure you I do my best to help those that had legitimate complaints when all they did was buy some seed. So if you consider your situation and wish to discuss it with me, probably pm is more appropriate, we will do our best to sort it out.

We at MNS stand 100% behind what we do and have been doing it for a long time.We are still doing it and regardless of whatever your experience with our products we listen to all legitimate things equally. We replace and support things on our helpdesks and home site as frequently as we can...I believe that should speak for itself.
