After looking into getting a Budbox, I decided it was a better option to build my new drobe, the bud box being to square and obvious for my likings!

Plans were put in motion and my desired size was to be around 4ft by 2 ft, not huge but definatley an increase in size to my current drobe and something that could easily take 4 plants!

Off to the DIY store and all the sizes of pre cut ply fell into place, this was going to be straight forward, bit of sawing, hammering and screwing later and something wasn't working out right, I didn't have enough wood!! whistling.gif doh.gif

With all my carefull planning, I hadn't sized the base properly and used a whole sheet of ply and built upwards, the key problem being the sheet of ply was 6ft long!! 34.gif

Oh well, looks like my grow is in the process of serious upgrading!! smoke.gif yahoo.gif

Here is the frame work, ready for a bit more work!

Next bit, bit of reflective lining to make the most of the lights when they go in!!

Markymark
Will be running 2 x 250w lights in this which gives me about 61w per square foot, will possibly upgrade to 2 x 400w which would give me just over 100w per sq ft but that would be a bit overkill biggrin.gif will see how it goes!!

Will put some more pics up as I get the extra bits sorted out!!

looking good marky as per usual.......i can see you doing some serious scrogging in there fella.........get some baton put at 18inch or so all the way round, then bits of steel netting cut into as many plants as you desire.....1 piece of net per plant for easy removal etc........oh sorry its your room.......... rofl.gif cool.gif

Loads of options now mate, straight forward grow, scrog, could even do a form of SOG but I reckon I will start off with a few LST'ed plants and then move on from there!! wink.gif
Neo
your right mate..............you could scrog in 1 half and pack some sog in the other side or leave as normal........also could get some great staggering of crops buddy..........4 week crops........ yahoo.gif

Been looking into this a bit and as I have to buy at least one light I am going to make it a 400w, so 400 in one side and 250w in the other!

I can then start them off in one side and then move them to the other or if I go for two different methods I can use the lights to their optimum depending on what methods I am using and how many plants are in there!!
Neo
is the room 6 x 2 rather than 4 x 2 like you was going to have..... unsure.gif
Markymark
Yes mate, with lining it works out to be 5ft 10 by 1ft 10 and is 6ft from floor to ceiling!!

With 2 x 250w it works out to be 61w per sq foot but with a 2 x 400w it works out to be over 100w so might stick one x 400w in to see how it goes!!
Neo
i would stick with 2 x 250w.........better temp control i think and at 66w per SQ that plenty light without going overkill......... cool.gif

if you want an extra 150 you could stick a MH spectrum enviro in there....... and save a bit on the lecci........wink1.gif

Bit more work today and she is nearly finished, intake and extraction holes have been cut, just need to get some clips for keeping the doors shut and some seal to go around the door frame, although the seal is pretty good without it!! yahoo.gif

Doors on and ready for a seals:

Always available at a cheap hourly rate Scoobs! whistling.gif

Sorry to hear about your grow, gutting when things like that happen, looking forward to your next one getting under way!!

Well, the beast is just about finished, few details need to be sorted out, such as tighter doors and a slightly better seal on one side but as off tonight my widow has moved in and once my next light turns up I will be moving the Hasberrys and Bubblelicious into the other side!!

Here she is with Carbon Filter and Fan, pure bliss having this inside (was outside on the last drobe) as the fan noise is massily reduced, need to get some hooks for the lights, so that is a bit bodged at the moment!!

Markymark
Here she is all shut up and finally up and running!! yahoo.gif

The fridge is my veg room and the towel down the side hides all the electrics, oil radiator and the intake fan, as it is in a garage I need to be able to keep both grow area's at the right temps!!
Markymark
And the last shot, all open and ready to go, in the fridge is my two hashberrys and 5 Bubblelicious which are all starting to show sex, definatley a few girls in there yahoo.gif

All waiting to go in their new home when the light turns up!!

tsk
