Hi every one. If finally got my grow box up and running, and have had it going for a few days to check it over before I start growing. I'm getting the following readings, temp ranging from 15.7 - 24.7 C and humidty around 66%. Going by the knowledge base I'm a little high on humidity and its getting a bit cold at lights off, but not too much. What do you all think, am I good to go or do I need to play around with things a bit.
I'm using a DWC bubbler by the way with a fish tank heater in it to keep the water at about 20 -22 C.
any thoughts would be appreciated as I dont want to waste too many babies when I get it going
Cheers

is your light running during the day ?
if it is, you should run it during the night during winter,
& if its not possible to run it like this, you should either
get a tubular heater or one of those heating mats.

yep I'm running the lights from 2 pm to 8am, that when i'm getting the 24.7 C. when you say tube heaters or matts dp you mean the matts that go in vivariums. The only tube heater that I can find that will fit doesn't have a thermostat and I'm not sure what one to use. I'm limited to a size no longer than about 550mm

Tubular heaters for greenhouses etc can be used. I think the smallest is 350mm (60w).
stuff and nonsense

temps like that would suit me , have you taken the heat from the tank heater into account ? that might raise the lights of temp a tad if your concerned its to low , humiditys fine ( mj loves humidity ) only wants to be lowered during last few weeks of flowering if your growing dense buds but even then if you have good air exchange it shouldnt be a problem .

found somewhere with one of those tube heaters, but its still a little big for my space. I've been looking today at these ceramic light bulb style heating elements used for vivariums. they are small and can easily be linked to a thermostat. Im thinking of mounting one near the air intake so it heats the air up as its sucked in.
As for humidity thats cool, I was worried its a bit too high as I wasn't sure how I could get it lower.

just another quicky, those tube heaters, how quickly do they heat up. I've read they can take a while. I am only growing in a small space. about 600 x 450 x1200. I'll have to use the smallest one 350mm x 60w.
