hi folks,
finally gonna get myself a set Bubblebags but don't know which set would be best for me? , i'll be using 3 plants worth of trim / smaller buds e.t.c but i notice you get 1gallon, 5 gallon e.t.c, which 1 would you say is best? also does it matter what size of bucket you use when using them?

Get the 3 bag 5 gallon set, 1 gallon bags are too small.

I have a 1 gal set it's fine for small amounts

It'll do three plants no prob

i would go for 5 gallon bags which is good for 200g of fresh trim
3 nice size plant should easily give you 200g of fresh trim

And dont forget only buy the bubbleman bubblebags the others are only cheap copies that will rip

that's one of the smaller bags I pm'd you about.

But that's a single screen jobbie,although you can get full melt using it no problemo.

I'd go for a multiple screen bag as they really do the biz in sorting your wheat from your chaff,so to speak.

These are Iso-lator bags and very high quality,couldnt rip or damage them if you tried.

Sorry Elvis,you are probably right about many cheap bags but these are also the shuzzit.

thanks for all the help , i just ordered the 1 Gallon, 7 Bag set , i was gonna go for the 5 gallon but with the 1 gallon i'll be able to try it quite a few times with smaller amounts to help me get used to using them, can't wait to givwe them a go , do you guys use a wooden spoon or an electric mixer?

For the amount of plants you'll be processing the 1 gal set is ideal . I used to pull a 1/8 a run with my old 1 gal set using Black Domina material.

Each batch of material you process do it twice, once with a large wooden spoon or broom handle, once with the electric whisk. Broom handle is better coz it goes deeper.
Get your water ice cold 1st before you start, even if it means letting most of a bag of ice melt in your bucket of water before you begin. Use lots of ice. Each run stir for 10 mins, let it settle 1/2 hr..do this twice (using broom handle) then lift....replace bags and repeat the process twice again using the mixer. If you do it properly you'll have got all the trichs.

cheers Hydronaut , really looking forward to it, only ever tried the tights method before, got a pretty good result but i'd imagine the product through the bags is gonna be alot better, if i get full melt i'll be in dream land , only ever seen it through pics from yourself and Grobag e.t.c, might treat myself to a roor to smoke it through as the bong i have just now is quite old and tattered, thanks again mate
