well my shitty old shed goners

probably wait til after xmas until I build a new one, so rather than be without an xmas smoke, I'm gonna use this old closet for my xmas harvest.
It is 3 ft x 3 ft with 5 ft headspace.

After the first coat of paint...

When It's dry, I can start adding all the gear and hopefully begin flowering in a week or so.

Fitted a Light / InlineFan support frame, fan supports (not touching wall) with added bubble wrap to lessen vibration noise.

At the end of the day...

Tomorrow, I add the extractor fan and finishing touches. I don't think the frame alone will hold a CF, so I'll probably have to make a seperate support unit for that.

forgot to add, I prefer to put ballast away from growroom, mostly for more floor space and added safety
Fan & FilterHere's the fan & filter support

Quite dubious about this, cf is quite heavy. Decided against putting cf at end of ducting, I prefer it this way too.
Next job is to build a light-proof box for the intake hole.

(gaffa tape will be used to connect cf to fan, dont u worry about that

Top job Smokey,
It look really pukka now. Good idea keeping the ballast outside saves any nasty accidents when watering
thank you peeps

31C (87f) at the moment
however, the fan--vent is not air proof at the moment. Im guessing its loosing a little performance, so hopefully when I get some gaffa tape, temps should drop a little.

Nice work smokey...you got skills dude
The light proof vent is genius....but does the extra piece of wood hinder air flow?
All the best mate
Brad
Hi man, thanks

The extra peice is to block light, it shouldn't hinder airflow much if at all.

Hi all, just a little update.
Plants are doing good. I am pleased to see low humidity for once! Temps have been alright too.
Flowering started a few days ago, and trained them a little bit. Noisy plants at the moment, but once budsites are established then more trimming will be done

My troops are 2 lst'd scrogs and 18 sogeleters, well sort of

Oh, and there is at least 2 pogs there as well

hehehe your like me but I have a space and an 'n' in my name!
Some good ideas in your cupboard, I like the idea of having some bubblewrap between the fan holding rail and the support. And I like the fan holding rail too, I was thinking of doing something similar in mine, but didn't think of the bubblewrap bit, so I may have to use that idea.
Keep up the good work, the plants look great too.
