Hello,

I've just germed some BSHW i got from the Expo (thank you!).

Does anyone have any more information than what i've been able to find out so far:

It's an old 70's strain from California.
It's Sativa.
It's been used to breed quite a few other strains.

If you have grown this, let me know!

Also - who are they from???? Who bred them?

Thank you!

Keye.

I was led to believe that i had some of these beans too i have 1 left from the 5 that i planted. She's outside flowering at the mo but since then i've been told by others that it isn't the BSHW as they were not in unmarked 420 boxes. So i have no idea. Was also told it was a potent 100% Indica??? Of which i got to say this does look. Either way, whatever strain it is it didn't do anything near it's full potential due to a shite summer.

Went on a whirlwind thread read and managed to find this post by OT1 in an old thread. (I hope that link takes you to post #55)...
Very interesting thread in itself.

BSHW was bred by a guy called Danbo in the 70's ( i think) and the hing with its breeding was the altitude t was bred at ( I think) and by a good breeder.

people here have a fair bit of knowladge on him and BSHW.There are even some great pics of its leaves as they are unique but right now im trollied listening to music and my head isnt in history and search mode mode atm so i wont say anymore as i dont want to give out bad info but if you do a search im sure there is info here on BSHW smile.gif
