-SS Northern Lights #5 x Haze-

Please comment if you know of this plant. I've just acquired a bag of these beans and am interested to know how peeps have fared with them. Any Info, Pics, Hints & Tips, Do's and Do-not's greatly appreciated.

don't veg them too big because they grow like stink, they'll yield big but may outgrow your growspace if it's on the small side, once you pop those beans there's no holding back .

it's a pretty easy strain to grow and doesn't really need a lot of special attention, it'll take 12 weeks or more to finnish flowering but it's worth the wait, the stuff I've got is very strong with a really full on up type high.

grow like stink? thats an understatement! lol.gif
it was like parting the seas. just pushing your arms in under the light and spliting the plants left or right, and stringing them back like bud bails. then the next day, it was all back! like day of the bloody triffids. it never did finish.

it responds favourably to light hour manipulation. i know of nothing else quite so controllable. weather you want a quicker finish or something that seems to be perpetually flowering, it will do the trick. we had it up 16 weeks and not a sign of age on the newer buds while the older ones were being smoked. thats was at 16 hours light. its a bit much for this forum though. any moment im going to be told im lieing lol.gif

I can certainly believe the bit about smoking the bottom buds while the rest of the plant is still going for it , mine were just the same the bottom halves of the plants were completely finnished but the tops were showing no signs of stopping they just kept going and going and going in the end I chopped them after about 13 weeks or so because I was getting pissed off with it and needed the space they were taking up for something else.

.... got one going at the moment and it's doing exactly the same thing, I think I'm gonna keep it going a bit longer this time though.

I think I've got a pic on here of one in veg, but I don't bother posting ( or even taking ) budshots anymore, my plants have usually got a bit of spidermite damage and never really look very attractive .... I wouldn't wanna put you off.

here's the pic of the one I had in veg, as you can see some of the leaves have already been damaged by mites..... it looks a lot worse than that now .
