Checking over my girls this evening I spotted what may be a male flower.

They are four and a half weeks into flower and I already had to pull 4 hermies a week ago. I think I may have squashed the f*****. Maybe it's not a male flower but I don't feel good....

That looks like a male flower but how many are there on the plant atm?

What were the other 4 like when you pulled them?

It does look hermie to me. sad.gif

I would be wondering why they are hermying myself. Do you have any light leaks or timer failures? What's your environment like?

You can just nip out the male bits as soon as you spot them, but you may be fighting a losing battle with that seeing as you are roughly halfway through flower.

I'm afraid so. What is the strain?

Are they from feminised seeds ? I use them due to space issues and mine do it all the time in the couple of weeks but they don't progress into actual seeds, I just leave them alone and it smokes fine. Doubt if it's the same if you've grown from regular seeds though.

Thanks for your replies.

First and foremost I don't do feminized seeds because they just aren't right. I know a few people who swear by the convenience but I'm happy to sex mine now I'm a little more experienced.

My plants are a cross afghan#1/pot of gold and at the moment I have found only one male flower on this plant. The other 4 pulled only had one male flower each but they were very pronounced so I pulled them straight away.

With regard my environment I'm fairly certain I have no light leaks but I'll check it out at next lights out tomorrow.

Does this now mean my whole crop which includes 7 chronics will be seeded? Should I remove the hermie now or just keep
an eye for further male flowers and remove them (I have a feeling it's the former).

Five out of 15 so far are hermies. Bollocks.

Again thanks for your help.
