hi!

anyone grown highend from legends own seeds?

its supposed to be a cross of a DJShort blueberry male (father of his latest collection(?)) and a fantastical cutting from a mythical clone known as Rene.

rene is what the bubbleman says he was making his first bubblehash out of and peeps on OG thought it was a hoax and yadda yadda best plant ever grown for full melt blahblahbollocks.

the info for HighEnd is more a big rant about rene being great with a side mention of djs blueberry male.

call me whatever, i've learned to be scepticle of the sales pitch adn wondered if anyone has any hands on or anecdotal experience of this strain or either of the parents?

is the father a famous delta9 blueberry? is rene real and if so is it really so good?

all imput aprreciated

Highend Grow Report, S.A.
Legend's Highend...

Here are some various pics up to the end of week four in flowering. So far, it has had explosive growth, extremely good response to topping, and has the biggest fan leaves at the canopy level of any plant i've seen. Expect ~1.75x stretch once blooming is initiated. This plant wastes no time...trichome development came on quick and the crystals stack more and more each day. I caught a waft of the smell...very much like DJ's Flo...fruity, sweet, berry-like but not quite blueberry, more floral. Very excited to see the results...

Highend Grow Report (Part 2 - 6 weeks into Flower), S.A.
Here's the Highend in week 6. Looking good, nice and greasy trichome coverage.
I originally compared the smell to DJ Short's Flo...but, now it definitely has an aroma more similar to Blueberry...more berry smelling and less of that floral/incense aroma of the flo.

The structure is top-heavy...very aggressive grower.

Highend Grow Report (Part III - Harvest/Smoke Report), S.A.
Strain: Highend
Breeder: Legends

Estimated Flower Time: 9 Weeks (63 Days)
My Flower Time: 62 Days (Based on 50%+ amber trichomes)
Yield: 1½ ounces (~42 grams) per 3 gallon…grown 100% organically (like there’s any other way :^)

The breeder description was very accurate…A day shy of 9 weeks for the flowering period, moderate yields, and most importantly, exceptional resin production! In fact, among the 10 strains in the garden, the Highend had the most resin production, even surpassing my infamous Grapefruit keeper.

The aroma was mostly ‘blue’. If you’ve grown DJ Short varieties, then you’ll know what I’m talking about. The plant started off with the floral/incense-like waft of Flo and progressed to a more Blueberry funk by harvest. The initial high notes are noticeably blueberry, followed by a unique sweet funk undertone.

The smoke is extremely smooth and non-expanding, which is my preference as I like to take massive drags from hefty joints. The entire aroma I’ve described comes even more alive and nearly numbs your mouth...

What impressed me the most though…
I’m about as chronic as they come. I work hard, and I want to smoke even harder. Lately, I’ve been disappointed with a number of strains that produce amazing aroma and yield, but lacking in the ‘stoned’ dept. I’m sure they’re strong for an average toker…but I seek only the strongest cheeba…and the Highend is indeed, strong. Halfway through the joint, you literally feel an almost slow-motion rolling tsunami of a high coming at you…and suddenly you know you’re exactly where you want to be :-) It may sound dramatic, but it was red-eye galore. It was a rock-solid stone that had my heart pumping, my mind clear, and my body locked dowwwn. It doesn’t provide too much of a trippy head, just a nice, prevalent, stone.

My only ‘negative’ would be yield, but the breeder clearly states “moderate yields”, so I’m not disappointed…and honestly, this is some seriously efficient herb, a little bit goes a long way.

Very happy to have this around for the upcoming summer months. Legends got something special here..
