Hello to the good folks at Mr Nice, Shantibaba et al.
Recently I had the good fortune to be awarded a pack of your seeds in Cream of the Crop. I've never had a full on Skunk to grow before and I was wondering a few things.

As I understand, Sh!t is the original Amsterdam Skunk from 1980, crossed again with an Afghani. Is this right?
So how would you describe the smell when in full flower? It's obvious I'm going to need a better air scrubber but just how bad (or good) can I expect it to get?

I've read that it's pretty easy to grow, do you recommend any particular feeding regime for soil grown plants?

As I only have a very small space to grow in, can you suggest a minimum number of seeds to germinate for a good chance of a female? Are your seeds all strictly 50/50 or do you have a higher female ratio?

Sorry for all the Q's, It's just that this variety has come as something of a surprise to me and I feel I need some serious help before I even germinate a seed.

Hi Jim, well done on winning the seeds I can't really offer any useful advice other than my air sok/odour sok is rubbish after two grows (6months) and I personally don't recommend them. I think you should germinate all the seeds and assume you'll get 50/50 and if you end up with too many I'll happily take one off your hands. Hh.

i used a phat carbon filter and acoustic ducting and i have had not had a smell out of it until my uncle came down today and said why is there a curtains hanging in the middle ogf the troom and a big beam of light coming from the arch at the top of the door




female ratio will help if you have goopd conditions but its just like having a baby could be either

!! i know a guy that grew since about the 70s and he used fish emulsion to feed when he started out 5-2-2


1 tablespoon per litre this is a good organic fetilizer

HazyHead that's just it, I don't want to end up with 12+ female plants all at once! I've been thinking about it and might go for 12/12 from seed an half the pack. Should have odour control by month end. I'll test it on Magic Bud and Blueberry before trying the Sh!t.
Thanks HEAVYSMOKER. I don't think fish emulsion is down my road. I'm trying to keep my buds vegan as well as organic. not for me, it's just that some of my friends are strictly vegan ie no bone china, (or driving through towns with 'ham' in the name ) and it's nice for them to have that peace of mind.
Has anybody got advice on what the Sh!t smell is like? is it the sweet amsterdam type of skunk smell, or something like a dead badger in a garlic field?
So nervous about growing skunk types!
