i really think you should be "cracking" more than 3 seeds.

hardly makes it worth it IMO. Maybe somebody else would have grown out more(like the whole pack) if they had the same chance as you. seem a bit of a waste.

I got 5 seeds and germinated 3, which leaves 2 backup germinators just in case i mess these up. (they are feminised)

I think I'd also keep a couple of backup seeds at least until I had some good sized plants, you never know what might happen and wipe out a grow.

yeah exactly felix mate that was the only reason why I kept back 2, just in case. Don't know what dopedog is going on about.

2 egyptians are doing fine, I'll post some pics of it soon. They've not changed much since the last pics. Quite a slow developing plant... I'm planning on revegging them if i can.

whats your set up smokey i see in your profile it says comppst so what type, what nutes, grow space etc etc good luck with it as i said to scarface il be following these with great interest!

There is life! I moved them into compost after 4-5 days in the paper towel method (All 3 cracked within 72-96hrs).

Really glad one of them has popped up, hoping the others will soon.

Only 1 has popped up mate (out of 3), still waiting for the other 2 to do the same now.

don't think these others 2 are going to sprout up, I'll give em another week though just to make sure, then I'll crack the other 2 I kept back... but at least we got one to grow out, thanks

Hi, here she is today, 2 days after soaking up an 400 hps.

think something has been nibling on it as well I have planted it into a bigger pot.

I'll crack these other 2, when I get some seedling compost.

sorry i'm a bit slow,

she's doing rather well now healthy growth over the last few days, settling in nicely.

I've just planted the remaining 2 seeds, straight into medium as gerrit suggested as well

Good news, those 2 seeds I kept back have now cracked. Normally don't germinate in compost, but this time its turned out good!

Got 2 little taproots emerging from the underneath, and a slight mountain is appearing on top

Been under a 400W hps, though I have to move them now back into my veg room, as I need to begin flowering my xmas crop.

She reallly took off after the 3rd week and she's 2 foot high and rockin sweet as,after 35 days veg.

yeh im chuffed myself, im not the sharpest knife but 3 outta 5 aint bad happy with that result,

it was surprising how fast they sprouted up, so yeh from now on I will be planting directly into mud, it does seem to work well!!! though I haven't had much hassle with the paper towel method, its just that it does seem easier this way.

Hi Gerrit mate, yeah they are doing ok.

Mota1 is doing well, but the other 2 are showing signs of nutrient deficiency, though the potting-on compost was brand new,I think the stuff I germed in probably caused this.

Should turn out ok

Sorry about the time I'm taking as well, veg room is in attic at the moment, though light is on 24/7 it's quite mild up there until I sort out my shed.

They are still alive!!!

I've just been a bit busy, they were under low level conditions but now they've been under a hps for a week or so.

Hoping to take a clone or two from each, then I'll flower these three off.

Should have some Motivation Budshots for you Gerrit come next harvest!
