A rather nice decorative piece for my small room.

Grow space
Height: 53 inches
Width: 21 inches
Depth: 11 inches

Thin Aluminium. Grating on top for cooling (and I hope to add at least 2 computer fans.) Plenty of room besides grow space for ballast, hydro equipment etc. Will close with backplate and cover inside with Mylar. There is enough screwable infrastructure for me to add light, pot-trays, scrog etc.

I'm in the process of gutting it and am wondering what the maximum wattage HPS (or otherwise) I should use for light is.
Since there is less than 2 square feet of growing area, I was thinking 150 Watts. Though it would be nice to expand operations when I get a bigger place.

Advice would be appreciated.

Showing the grow area. I hope to start with Lowryder 2, to get the hang of nutes and light distances (and to give myself a float!) and then move up to scrogging an easy indica strain.

They might not be visible, but there were large hole in the front for data cables. Now they may serve for air, water and electricity.

by the looks of it a 250 or a 150 with a cooltube would suit it nicely

If you are using a 250 then you will need a proper inline fan with a cf

I was hoping to grow loads of mint and other temperate plants and leave the window open?

I kindof figured that if anyone recognised the smell above that, they'd probably be cool.

I might be able to expand the grow are to 4 square feet. I imagine that would produce much better yields.
