As promised here is my LR 2 girl who came down today. Chopped one last week, but my pictures were so bad it weren't worth bothering putting them up here.
She yielded about 20g's of top draw bud, real nice citrusy/ skunky smell to it, and quite a punch to it as well, quite an even head/ body high. I'm happier with this grow than I have been with any other. I think I was pretty close to getting the best out of them ,coz it ranks up there with some of the best smokes I've had. Just go's to show that quality has more to do with the grower than what genetics you are working with.
Here is girl number 2. Not great pictures, but you can get some idea. I'd say roughly i'll be looking at just abit over an oz for her

Now i'm left with one girl, pictured below. Probabaly give her another week, which would take her to 10 weeks. The girl above was 9 weeks, and the first one, 8.
Reckon she will yield the most, she has big solid buds all over her, started out as the runt, and was very nearly ditched. Thank fuck I didn't!. Still is very small, alot more indica than the other 2. They clearly showed sativa dominance and finished well over a meter tall. I was expecting them all to be the size of here below, would have been alot easier!

, 20g off your first chopped one is great!, and about an Oz off the other is awesome, ive got a couple of lowryder#1's along with my main grow at 8 weeks today, off 1 of them it's gonna yeild just over a Quarter and the other is only half that, how big are the calyxs on LR#2?, on 1 of my LR#1 the calyxs are massive, i'm almost 100% sure they aren't seeded, but if they are then it's early male pollen from a AfghanHaze x AfghanSkunk

Calyxs were well swollen on the first two, but even bigger on the last one to come down. Not had any seeds yet so don't expect any to come.

As for the taste, it doesn't have as strong a taste as the smell, but still nice. Coz I smoke it in a bong mixed with tabacco its hard to really say. It does taste really smooth, definately benefited from a 3 week flush. Has got a certain undertone to the taste that you only get with well flushed weed, NO chemicals in there!
First time I have done it pure organic (Biobizz). It has yielded more, smells amazing, and gets you very very high. No more pissing around with changing nute tanks every week or 2, no more fucking around with ec and ph, no more hydro 'boosters', and plenty of other supplement nutes that rack up a hefty bill.
Organic rules!!! LR # 2 rules!!!

I'm more than happy with the results, considering how much negative press LR 2 had been getting on here, I was very surprised at how good it turned out. Will definately consider doing them again, as should others! I think the addition of Santa Maria has improved it massively (even tho I aint tried LR 1), as there was quite a wide consensus that the potency of LR 1 was not great.
The amount of crystal was out of this world, more than some other strains I have done (wonderberry, afghan, skunk special).

Hi, not sure about the friut stuff, sounds bannanas to me as far as the watering (or not) goes i beieve that the main reason is to help with the dying process. If you stop a couple of days before harvest and then chop when the leaves start to wilt you should be right.
I read recently that your plants should be given 24hrs dark up to the chop. The idea is that they sense the end is nigh and give out last push for resin. I tried it last crop and... well it's hard to say but it certainly didn't do them any harm. Hope you get some nice fat buds.

Just thought i'd add my two pence on the old low yielder2 (no disrespect intented). I've grown them twice and find them brilliant for filling gaps if your m/f ratio works out badly. Their shorter flowering time is perfect.
Smokewise, beautiful buzz, nice flavour and lovely spicy / fruity smell. Yieldwise they are low / average. I think my average was about 20-25g's. The largest being around 30-35g. Definitely worth growing though. Pretty much a hassle free plant

hey people, no pictures to show but some news on the NFT growing with lowryder 2, in a gt205 system my good friend had a dry yield of 50g this is not a joke, under 24/0 hps 400w. it was a monster and a nice smoke.... GHE 3 part nutes.

It's been a while since my last post. I've now had a total of 3 grows with LR2, and I'm about to start the 4th. I'm using the same basic method as before, although I'm a little concerned that the sheer blind luck that gave me such a great female-to-male ratio may end up running out on this grow, and I may end up with more males than females for the first time.
I'll keep you guys informed how things are going.

Just a quick update - of the 5 seeds planted, 4 germinated fine and 1 had trouble germinating and died. The four remaining are now 13 days old and have started showing their sex. 2 of the plants are definitely male and have been removed, and the last two look like they're female.

I tried starting them under the HPS much sooner and it's worked great. They've barely stretched at all, and apart from one plant having a couple of odd fan leaves, they look really healthy!
