keep pulling and tying a small amount every day. you'll be surprised how much bending they can take. Small amounts at a time, eventually you'll get 5 or 6 inches lower, then more if you need but just be gentle.
Fat Freddy
As jim says, you can bend the main cola horizontally

Paranoia for outdoor/greenhouse growers must be hitting critical levels at this time of year, it certainly is for me. Your darlings are showing signs of doing something at long last, they're also growing like crazy. As Jim said, get bending, be careful though and do it as gradually as you can get away with.

I have recently been faced with a similar problem, though I wasn't too paranoid. After taking a tour at the cannibis college in 'The Dam' I took the oppurtunity to have a chat with the gardener. He was very helpful and also had expeirience with his own greenhouse experiments. I mentioned that my girl was trying so hard to pop the glass out of the greenhouse frame,he simply said to top the plant to the height I was happy with, apparently this will not effect the yield or quality.
Since topping her she's really bloomed and judging by the looks of things will be a bloody big yielder.
From reading the other posts it seems I may have made a mistake though? Will I have stressed her too much by topping her at this stage, she's currently releasing all her lovely white pitsils and stinking like the really smelly skunk that lingers round your house for days if you get some...piney smell I think best describes it?
Anyway I thought I'd mention that tying may not be essential, this guys advice has actually sped up my plants development, she was about 6ft but now after topping her, shes 5.5 lets say..its quite amaizing to watch how quickly things have changed.
This is just my experience so dont quote me on any of this. Im in doubt too!

thx 4 interest ayersy i have topped her but not seen much change i am bit worried as she went into flower 2 weeks ago but growth of buds seem very slow might just be me as it says flowering takes 6to 8 weeks

I wouldn't worry too much, from what I've read on this here site Sativas always finish late..especially in england! sad.gif They will grow happily below the equator though. The main thing is to keep your plant alive and stress free if she's Sativa dominant, she may even need a heater in the greenhouse eventually?!
Apparently In England we're to expect an Indian summer that doesn't finish unilt late october..thats music to my ears. yahoo.gif Or so I've heard, if this is the case we're real lucky!
Let her do her thing man...

hope the weather holds out i is off 2 spain 4 2 weeks got brother on watering duties so hope there is a real change when i get back anyways i will let u know when i get back try and get some pics good luck with your plants spliff.gif

just speaking from my own experience but I've found that topping whilst in flower only serves to remove the main bud. the other buds don't stretch to replace it like they do in veg stage and just develop small as before, or you get stretchy 'airbuds'
Hopefully you can prove me wrong! Good luck with the autumn
