hi all since upgrading my extraction to a 6" vortice inline my temps have come down from the late 80's to about 65-70 is this too low at the minute i had it coming on for 15 mins off for 15 mins and what i was thinking was on for 15 mins off for 45 this should let the temp get up a bit or not ? but will i still be exchanging enough air in an hour

also what's the lowest temps i want to be hitting at night im worried its dropping to about 50 ?, i know it feels cold in there in a morning as the lights come on and theres no chance i can change to have everything on at night as the fan sounds like a jet engine someone might notice

afaik ... you dont want it below 15c or above 30c somewhere in the middle is best about 20 to 25c

you dont want to be switching your fans off for 45 mins or at all really they need to be running 24/7 so you have good air exchange I think you need a fan speed controller so you can switch it down

cheers mate, i know your right but at the minute i cant afford one so for now this is gonna have to do ive changed it to 15 on 30 off and so on so on that should still be ok i hope for a while and theres a 12 inch fan inside to keep the air moving the temps are now between 71-78 which i like its just i think its getting too cold at night
