Have you seen them? These plug in pest control units that give out a certain frequency that messes with the nerve system of insects. Iv just got one from the bootsale cheap and thought hey why not, it seems to be given out a clicking sound. Does anyone know if these will put off spidermites? If so they'd be an awesome addition to the grow room, might be adding a little to your carbon footprint but imagine not having to spray anything on yer ladies to keep things at bay.

Mr. Jolly
Read a page on tobacco pest management, which suggests that these sound repellants have no effect on mosquitoes.

But the proof is in the pudding.

I dare say for these things to be effective they may have to be species specific IMO.

No iv heard flying insects aren't affected but crawling insects are. I dare say it wont harm none having an experiment with them, tbh im surprised I haven't seen anything about them here before.

Trouble is im treating for spidermite with something i know kills them so until i stopped using that id not know if it was repelling as it should be. Im not stopping treatment to experiment right now but definately needs looking into.
