These are about 4 weeks from seed and are about to have cuts taken ready for sexing.

Nice one, looks quite a bit like my Nep-leaning NepJam F2 pheno, "Sturdy".

Of the two Nep-phenos I've grown one (Big Momma) is serious genius weed, the other (Sturdy) is incredibly old-school in smell, taste and stone... waaay out man...

The Sturdy pheno, in particular, was a primo candidate for hash-making. Not sure why I mentioned that, but there you go....

But like Gert I 've grown a few F2 pheno's out and they split into 2 main pheno's of which the Nep influence one will I'm sure be more like your Highland girls.Very stocky,amazing resin production,I mean really for a Sat and all done around 9 weeks,Jam pheno's 3 weeks longer.


My latest Nepali pheno lot are coming in a bit quicker as clones as well,which is noice.

Yeh man, just waiting on the time as i have the seeds awaiting the place, i missed the original line up so i feel lucky i caught onto the the backcross to be honest.

If you look at Hydro's vegging girls they still seem to be splitting into 2 quite different pheno's like the NepJam.Wadya think Hydronaut?

The squatter one's already look like Nepali types.

Gert,I ask as I found both types to have the same profile,and your 'sturdy pheno' is like my NepZilla clone Mum innit?Did you find the tall classic sat later flowerer to be different thc wise?Cos I'd didnt really but then we were only sampling a few F2's.

Yeh , primary reason for me going for this strain is the hash making possibilities, tumbled kif or bubble. Time will tell.

Well, I don't want to mess up Hydronaut's thread, so check the details in Alphabet Soup, or PM me.
But in a nutshell, the stretchy pheno, even though it looked lovely, was hemp.

Mmm in not sure and wouldnt like to say at this early stage. Tbh i thought the larger lankier ones to be males but time could prove me wrong there. Other than that they are all pretty uniform, short and squat.

It's great to see the highland nepalese grown here! It's indeed a limited edition, nepalese jam backcrossed again to same nepalese. The cross should be very interesting to all the growers looking for more nepalese dominant expressions and a more stabilized NJ line to work with.

Apart from the Fungal thing i have going on that im trying to rid them of, great

Just about to sex some cuts
Then all being well i should have enough females for 70 cuts, the best 60 ill put in the tables and see what i've got.

hmmm, good luck on the fungal front, really looking forward to seeing how these turn out.

Well, the fungal thing didnt go too well and all attempts to to rid the plants of it came to no avail. The mothers eventually died after a long battle and i was left only with the original cuts i made for sexing purposes. These somehow have survived tho you can see the effect it has had on them. Luckily it seems to have all but stopped im the flower room so it looks like these will finish..
They were flowered no sooner than the cuts had the first signs of roots so have remained quite small, apart from one which zoomed off. 7 form 11 were fems so good ratio.

The motherroom has since been fumigated with a sulphur candle and has had several bleach washdowns, the flowerroom will get similar treatment once these have finished. Hopefully i will be rid of this problem in the future.
